Goal scoring happens to be a major pain point
Last season, Marko Arnautović was the club’s most prolific scorer across competitions. The Austrian led the club’s scoring charts with 10 Premier League goals.
Felipe Anderson was the second-best goalscorer behind Marko with nine Premier League goals.
In all fairness, The Hammers need a striker who can spearhead the club’s attacking lines. In recent times, the club has lacked a striker who can score 20-25 goals in a single Premier League season.

In order to bolster the club’s forward line, Pellegrini has roped in Sebastien Haller (nicknamed the “bulldozer” by Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovak). THe 25-year-old can score goals against any given opposition. The quality of the opposition’s defence lines doesn’t really matter to him. He will score goals if it is his day. Sad to say but there's a world apart in class between Haller and the rest of those players. Cardoso may be a good future prospect but Fornals has yet to show any real potency and the others are backup players at best
