That clubs fans donated the ridiculous £14.95 fee to charity rather than pay it

Simple as that...they may think they can get by without fans but at the end of the day we are probably the most integral part of football society...players come and go but the fans stay and without fans to create the atmosphere(Cue Russ Abbot)football is not a very appetizing product for sponsors.
