Quite why a club such as West Ham even countenances deals for players with horrendous injury records is beyond us, so news that there is 'interest' in signing Liverpool's perennially injured midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is baffling. The £35 Million player missed the majority of last season with an injury, as he did on his previous two seasons.
No one doubts that on his day the Ox can be a great player, unfortunately just like many others who have joined West Ham in the past, Oxlade-Chamberlain is always one tackle away from a lengthy spell on the treatment table. Having had their fingers 'napalmed' by past mistakes, Carroll and Wilshere to name the most prominent 'offenders', bled the club dry of nearly £100 Million!
If you throw in the wages wasted on Winston Reid and Andriy Yamolenko, in excess of £30 Million in the last three years, you can see the 'folly' of such signings. The club simply cannot afford to make similar mistakes moving forward, so while it is incredibly frustrating for fans wanting to see new faces, it is better that they are left wanting rather than seeing the club buying Faeces! - Ed

Nev you know as we all do
The West Ham charity home for old/crippled footballers is always open specially if you have a Marquee name.
When you read that we and chelski are £4million apart in the valuation of Zouma you no the deal wont happen and what is £4million in that world....the negativity we are giving off as a club transfer wise i am sure is putting off a lot of players and making them think twice.
The Happy atmosphere that should be around the club and fans is turning toxic again and i think we are going to be back to demonstrations once again.
