Kicking a Cat and then grabbing it in order to 'slap' it's face, is an abhorrent act and one that needs sanctioning of the highest order, in a similar way to a young man sitting with his girl friend in a Pub who stands up to some pissed rowdy who has come over and started being impertinent and invasive, ends up being hospitalised by the drunken thug and his cowardly pals!

We mention the Pub incident because it is unfortunately the sort of event that occurs so regularly it doesn't even make the Local newspapers despite the recipient maybe receiving a permanent injury as a result of the unprovoked attack. Our friend of the site, Physician and neurological researcher Professor Jonathan Abel, was the victim of one such assault many years ago and still suffers dentistry problems over 20 years later.

Having sworn the hypocratic oath, he declined the offer of 'instant retribution' that his well-connected Uncle offered and just got on with his life. Kurt Zouma has made a mistake that will NEVER ever go away, even if he funds 'Cat Heaven'. However, we have heard that the player himself is contrite and wants to do the best he can to make amends, so to that purpose he will donate a 'substantial' amount of money to the RSPCA.

The exact figure is unknown, but it is believed to be the equivalent to ONE MONTH'S WAGES, in other words just over £500,000! Of course the money alone won't make a huge difference to the public perception of BOTH Zouma's, Kurt for kicking the cat, as well as his younger brother Yoan, for filming the incident and then being so 'disconnected' with reality that he thought it would be 'fun' to post the shocking footage on social media.

In a previous article we suggested Issa Diop needs to see a sports psychologist, we suggest Kurt and his younger brother also seek professional help. - Ed

Just commented on HG post and she has hit the nail on the head IMO.
By playing Zouma last night this story has now become about West Ham and not the idiot who should never be seen in a West Ham shirt again.
Zouma and his family now in a panic so make a pathetic effort to try and rectify it with a donation what a shallow human being he is

As an animal lover … blind dog, manic dog and a cat … I am appalled .. but none of us are perfect… my blind dog has worked out how to open the fridge. And stole the Xmas turkey. My reaction was nothing to be proud of… we all do shit stuff but at least should be allowed to make amends .. let’s give him a chance to show he is sincere in his retribution.

All the CAT PEOPLE will be enraged by his actions, then to go and play him is like PUTTING OUT FIRE WITH GASOLINE!!!

Not seen the video but heard it is horrific. I have always had cats until my last one past away three years ago at the grand old age of 21. I also raised two fox cubs back to health, recently. Basically I love all animals.
Zouma may be used to treating animals like this in his home country without redemption and it seems his younger brother also thought it would be funny to show it on social media,
Not in this country and I hope he realises what he did is not acceptable.
Sacking him imo goes too far. Perhaps being forced to seek help by attending a course with an animal psychologist would be one way of making him see what he did is just not right.

A D Bonds

It shows lack of animal awareness ,when his brother thought i would be fun to post it lots of country's have a compleat lack of empathy with animals ,especially, south east asians ,but lots of European country's as well ,Spain ,also some eastern European country's ,we here in Ireland have many issues with cruelty ,hare coursing ,fox hunting ,the French force feed ducks corn with a pipe down their throats .
There aren't many countrys in the world that have the same respect for our fellow inhabitants of this planet as you Brits , the anger this has caused is testament to that, very surprised with Moyes for playing him should have known better

How sacking him would actually work. There would be plenty of other clubs who would take him on and West Ham themselves ( guilty only of playing him instead of dropping him) would be £30 million pounds out of pocket?
