Seems he about to sign for us and could be available in a couple of weeks. Don't know much about him other than he was a good midfielder for Chelsea and left Moscow last August. Has been training with us for a month now.
Don't honestly remember seeing him much. But has played at some good clubs. Only 29 so should have several good years in him yet. Unsure about his temperament or how well he'll fit in.
He was okay at Chelsea as I recall and Sam may well see something in him as another option. However, he can't be all that if no one else wants him and he's a free agent!
A lot depends on his attitude I think. If his head is right... if he gets on well with the rest of the squad... if he really wants to do well (maybe seeing this as his last opportunity to play for a top side) he could be a great acquisition. A utility player is always handy, especially one with his experience (almost 100 games for Real Madrid). I look forward to seeing him in action.
