Moyes Crossing Fingers

The International break used to be a time of rest and recuperation for the majority of West Ham United's players, but since the club has become 'massive' that is no longer the case. With International recognition, comes the managerial caveat of potential injuries being picked up.

Hammers manager David Moyes was given an early present in the form of Michail Antonio's non selection for the Jamaica team's three 'dead rubber' matches, although he will be fearful of his other players getting injured, particularly the club's talisman Declan Rice.

Fortunately, or unfortunately Jarrod Bowen wasn't included in the England squad, due to getting crocked during the game against Liverpool (how Robertson escaped sanction for taking Bowen out we do NOT understand). The 25 year old will have had a much needed rest ahead of what promises to be an exciting but arduous final few games of the season, a Jarrod Bowen firing on all cylinders scares the hell out of the opposition, his return to action will give the whole team a fillip ahead of the season defining Europa League Cup quarter final against Lyon, Hammers of course being the ONLY English club left in the competition.

David Moyes has got to get his 'band of brothers' assembled for one last push, an effort that hopefully will be supported in the future with some sound investment in new players to add to what is already an impressive first team line up. No one could have asked more of such a small squad, they have literally run themselves into the ground, a fact that has NOT escaped the notice of fans who continue to turn up in their droves to support a team that is 'MASSIVE'. - Ed

Really?

Quite obvious that the title battle is not to be interrupted by the other "lesser" 18 teams in the Prem.
