Well, Hammers face up to old foes Freiburg in the knock out stages of the Europa League. The draw could have not been much kinder with the Irons missing out on some big fish left in the pond, Liverpool of course were handed the easiest tie but all in all Hammers fans have little to complain about, it must be because this was NOT a draw for a domestic competition!
West Ham will play away from home in the first leg of their respective tie on Thursday, 7 March, and at home for the second leg on 14 March.- Ed

I was shocked. Pleasantly
I was shocked. Pleasantly surprised I guess. I was under the impression, you could not meet a team. Who you had previously played in the group stages.
At least we will be able to have fans there this time. The return of the Frieburg Turtles!!!
To digress slightly, at the press conference this afternoon. Moyes admitted there is a contract on the table for him to sign. But he is waiting until the end of the season. To see if he wants to sign it or not!!
He goes into detail about how well he gets on with the board. How well he's done in the last 4 years. European football and all that for 3 seasons.
My honest opinion. He's off it's his epitaph - we shall await the phrase come the end of May. "David Moyes has agreed to leave the club by mutual consent"
Think you're right there, it
Think you're right there, it is just what Lous was saying this evening...Moyes' pre-planned exit exodus! Hurrah
