Duran Deal-Is This Planet Earth?

The is he or isn't he Jhon Duran to West Ham transfer saga seems finally to have come to a head as the 20 year old Columbian is understood to have agreed personal terms with The Irons, and both Hammers and Villa have come to a mutual arrangement regarding the fee ahead of the player's move away from Aston Villa.

This follows breaking news last night that the 'Steidten' was close to agreeing a deal for the red hot striker with a final bid approaching the £40 Million mark.

Duran has been pushing for a move for some time now and a 5 year £90,000 per week deal and a whopping £40 Million fee agreed has finally been thrashed out between West Ham and Villa, a club that love to take money from the EastEnders!

It is to be hoped that Duran's transfer is somewhat more successful than that of Danny Ings!

The figures involved are 'inter planetary' so Duran had better land on planet earth successfully, Hammers simply CANNOT afford another striker ricket to add to the woeful list accrued so far since David Sullivan took over.

Duran ticks all the right boxes but realistically is probably seeing a move to East London as a stepping stone to a 'bigger club', that is perfectly fine as long as he gives his all while wearing Hammers version of Claret & Blue! - Ed

Why on earth when Neysri a player allegedly on Jlo's wanted list who went to Besiktas for £15million why did that deal not happen?.Sorry to say but if money is tight as so often mentioned then a deal at that price was a bargain compared to the nonsense now happening.

This transfer plus the others we have gone after and been rejected is becoming a bloody farce this transfer window is becoming like all the rest in the past last minute panic buys because they can't seem to complete any deals there is always a problem when it comes down to West Ham and transfers i thought this would change under Lopi and steinden but i'm beginning to have doubts over the dealings so far.

Tis the silly season Nev. I'm sure you would agree. Duran does seem to have something about him. I think he will end up here and go on to be a cult figure. For the time he is here anyway. The last thing we need if he is a damp squib and leaves, are careless memories....Taxi!!

Oi big boy, what's your name?

As Mac says, who wants him, they see we are desperate so trying to bleed a few more mill out of us,as they are as desperate to get rid.....Another waster, but only time would tell, ive had some humble pie over the years, but not for many years now.

Are Villa trying to stall the deal as we have them on the opening week?
I think £40m is too much. The way these deals are going. Perhaps Tim should shop at Temu.

I don’t believe Villa want to sell him anyway to be honest, if he’s that good they need him being in the CL so I think the £40 mill was just to put anyone off , the fact that we’re stupid enough to offer that amount for someone unproven has probably taken them by suprise hence the stalling
