Found my way back via an email from Bondsy ... So, are we going to sue the ref from the other night ? Because Adrian was sent off, we used our last sub to get Jussi on (and CC off) which meant that Carroll couldn't come off or we'd be down to 9. AC having to stay on, hobbling about = long term injury. Adrian now cleared (was there ever a doubt), so it's clearly the refs fault ACs injury is as bad as it is. Phone the Solicitor !

Hi All, Original name was Beccles Hammer, but seeing as I am living in Leeds of all places for the next 17 months, and I miss Suffolk I changed to new name.
Very glad to see the site online again, and looking forward to debating etc our favourite Club, well the only Club really !!!
COYIs

For the record, I have always been a supporter of Sam and the board, I think for whatever reason they have all done a decent job, the 2 Daves biggest crime was employing Clueless (Grant) in the first place but they redeemed themselves by binning him, and putting in place a manager who got the job done- rebuild, promotion, stability, steady growth afterwards.
Personally at this moment in time, I would like to see Sam around till at least end of next season, but not sure who Id like to see pick up the mantle after that.Definitely NOT Twitchy though, and not Di Canio- one of my favourite players but not cut out for management yet.
Maybe Rafa Benetiz- or are the links to bindippers too strong for him and us?
I think he could take us onto the next step up- repeated top 6-8 finish, cup run every other year or so, flirt with Euro league and build a team over the next 5 years?
Only my thoughts and no doubt about to be shot down, but thats what this site is all about.
If any Hammers in Yorkshire, or near the LS28 post code then would love a bit of local support fending off the Leeds Utd historians and the bradford city wannabees (well done to them)

Cheers and COYIs

Welcome to Nev's super duper new site! Agree with much of what you say. And Sam might not want to carry to: after all I'm retired and I'm younger than him! Sure he doesn't need the money, so it comes down to having to love the job. Think how he sets out the team over the last dozen or so games might determine if he gets another 1 or 2 years. But at some stage we will need a new manager, DEFINITELY not 'Arry, di Canio is too much of a loose cannon. I'd like to see a long term appointment, somebody relatively young with big ideas... but who is of course the 64 thousand dollar question.
