Operation Buy To Sell Identified

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Tue, 29/04/2025 - 14:44

With this gruelling season nearly at a close, West Ham fans have come to a common agreement that a major rebuild is needed, even though we had one last season.

Fortunately, not only is this much-needed rebuild recognised by us, but also by Graham Potter.

Graham has alluded to the fact that the only “untouchable” players for this upcoming window will be Wan-Bissaka, Jarrod and Summerville. Everyone else is up for grabs with a supposed ‘sell to buy’ window on the horizon. It’s becoming a constant repeat that we buy a player and end up selling them next season, Longevity is something we’ve been unable to sustain persistently.

With the classic lame yearly reports that we have no money being announced, I guess we have to start pondering what actually happened in January? I suppose that dithering Dave from above must’ve had a ghost move his finger when we bid £65,000,000 for Jhon Duran!

But seeing as we now have ‘no money’ after we’ve made Jean-Clair’s transfer permanent, prepare to sign no one… is what some will expect you to believe.

We’ve now got a manager who had Brighton, had the highest transfer fee of a staggering £24,000,000! Who was coincidentally sold on for £115,000,000.

If we were to sell Mo for what the Saudi’s are prepared to offer, we’d easily be able to sign 4-5 players.

It’s time to stop the worry and start to prepare for our future, oh, and it would be nice to aim for some longevity, not to sign someone and sell them a season later for half the price.

Agreed Louis. Longevity is needed, stability is needed in the first instance. The ridiculous board aside. This has to start with the Manager, then the players. The ethos around the Managers vision. The buy in from all of the players. Not just some. We have to start from scratch. The fans must get on side, whether they think Potter is a w4nker or not.

If we don't do this come the end of next season we will be totally fvcked as a club, as fans, as a legacy. If it all goes the way of the pear by Xmas, it's goodnight Vienna..

In this who we're buying, who's being sold malarkey, blimey, the season ain't even over yet, never mind window being open. I'll be in the discussions when they're revealed on the OS.
