The current atmosphere around the club at the moment is so Negative that not one Fan i know sees anything but relegation ahead(me included) and the reason for the Negativity is purely Sullivans fault with his constant mantra that we have no money we must sell before we can buy and so we the fans and the media build on it because nothing else is coming out from the board apart from the Laughable don't panic it's early days in the transfer market we will be fine.
Well whoever spins that crap for Sullivan clearly is overpaid because the Negativity is going nowhere and growing bigger by the hour/day/week.....When you work in a positive Enviroment where there may be a problem it is nowhere near as bad as working in the same Enviroment where everywhere you look there is no ray of hope.
Sullivan has caused this and now we are looking such an unattractive proposition to players they will most certainly go to a club like Brentford/Brighton/Palace before even giving us a second thought and so Sullivans laughable vision that we moved to compete with the big boys is showing what total nonsense it was...the only thing Sullivan wanted and got was the land grab and the club who cares because he most certainly does not.
Whilst not absolving Sullivan
I haven't heard any of this sell to buy rubbish from the Official Site but only from social media platforms. Indeed, even the org is just as guilty in spreading some of these "rumours". The same can be said for the rumours of the unsettled dressing room atmosphere. Aguerds refusal to return back to the club is a case in point. Will someone please show me where that is actually true other than a Hammers News, Chat, ClaretandHugh or even this site.
Yes there is a negative vibe around the club for fans at the moment, for me personally, its mainly results, performance driven and a total lack of optimism in our current manager to improve on these two criteria. Seeing the club discard for definite, three stalwarts, with no replacements in sight with others maybe leaving, Paqueta's current crisis are also not improving my mood and now the fixture list has been released, oh boy. I confess, I STILL hanker for Upton Park too, the very soul that was this club.
Anyway, back to this sell to buy rumour nonsense, maybe, just maybe, this is a smokescreen? In the past, selling clubs have been aware of money floating around our club and prices escalate. Could it be that this time we're pleading poverty to keep prices down? A forlorn hope which will only be shown when the transfer window shuts down. Until then we'll just have to endure this negative feeling for now.
Potter Out would cheer me up no end though
