Dithering Board Decides Deadlines

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Thu, 26/06/2025 - 06:37

It is no surprise to one that West Ham are in a sell to buy position, it’s been plastered all over the media for week on end and now isn’t coming as a shock to any.

The likes of Mohamed Kudus, Nayef Aguerd and Edson Alvarez are all set to leave the Hammers this summer and the fundings that are acquired from these sales, will contribute to the transfer budget for the upcoming season, well, 75% of it was the last of what we knew, but moving onwards!!

Dithering Dave upstairs has now acknowledged that we are in-fact candidates for relegation with our current squad, and that the board have deemed a ‘Sell by date’ for the names players, meaning that the club owners will put their own money into the club if the Hammers aren’t able to sell by a specific date.

Not only are the financial incredibly tight, but our OWN owner has now acknowledged that there’s a chance we can get relegated which makes everything even worse.

However, on an enlightening note, the only bit of small common logic that has been used, comes through Karen Brady, who recently refused to comment on our strategy this window… the players that Macaulay and Potter are supposedly interested in are being kept quiet, alongside the money we have to spend… which most likely is none. A bit of positive news!

It’s nice to not have our entire transfer strategy and finances splashed to the media, thought, it is a shame we’re having to credit common sense nowadays.

Clowns running the club into the ground and now they have supposedly opened there eyes to the disaster that we fans have been foretelling them has suddenly hit home and the billionaires are in a panic that there moneymaker will become a money pit.

Two weeks before preseason starts and with the playing staff we currently have i reckon a few of us on here should rock up to the ground with our boots and will be given a chance.

West Ham sometimes well most of the time really you have to grit your teeth and sit on your hands otherwise you might do something stupid but it's to late because we already have by supporting the club!

This current squad are not candidates for relegation. Having a manager who is incapable of adapting to this squad available is the real reason we are amongst the favourites for the drop.
Potter could be given every player he wants at his disposal, there's no guarantee that he could mould HIS given eleven into a squad that will avoid relegation.
So we got no money? Fine. Sack Potter and get in a manager who CAN get the best out of this squad. The payoffs will be a darn sight cheaper. And probably safer. Win win for Sullivan. Win win for West Ham.

The squad is ok, just needs additions but Potter wont get a tune out of them.

Deluded. Take it you are not a fan off Potter lol. I just read that Potter & McCauley turned down a cut price Wissa from Brentford as he is 28. That age is too old for their plans?
The board also offered them Calvit-Lewin & Wilson. Bit both deemed to be too injury prone. Can't argue with that.
But Wissa at cut price? 28. Just in his prime. That one makes no sense.
It's going to be a long tough season. Like I said before. Can't wait for this current season to be over.
