Seems Sam is very keen to add DF to our squad. Can't for the life of me think why as we already have an ageing has been taking up valuable real estate in the middle of the park or am I be too harsh on a player that has spent many seasons being nurtured by SAF? Is he considered a replacement for Sam's mate Nolan or in addition to? Seems a waste of a reported 3.5yr contract on 60k a week to me. If we are able to free up that sort of salry should we be looking to boost the offer to Reid instead?

No league win at Anfield in my lifetime and I'm no spring chicken!! Is this the best opportunity we have to finally break this hoodoo or are we destined for yet another defeat or draw to the red half of Merseyside?

The rumour mill is stating Chelsea want Valencia for 21 million. Surely this is paper talk ? We need to keep our best players if we are going to challenge the best teams once we move to the OS.
