Sullivan Abuse Video

A video has shown up on C&H with transcript this morning. All I can say is that it is a disgrace to West Ham Fans. Of course I can understand their anger. DS was probably angry too -- but he kept his cool. Still, he's a lot shorter on video than I thought, and older too, so to me the approach of those fans looked bordering on an assault. And the expletives were pretty hard to take. Look, I feel the same fundamental view as those fans felt -- Big Sam has to go -- but I wish they could have approached the co-chairman with a little more grace and dignity. Anger is OK, but the personal abuse is uncalled for. And the abuse hurled towards KB uncalled for too. What do you think?

It's an absolute disgrace and the numpty's had a go at him also about leaving early, when they were obviously doing the same bloody thing? Earlier this season my son wanted to go to the gates of the car park to try getting some signatures so we did and Nolan came over and gave the fans his time. Now I am a big Nolan critic these days, not in the first 2 seasons of his tenure as he was fantastic for us, but one guy started hurling abuse at him and I had to have a word. Nolan was giving his time to the fans when other players were not, and you don't hurl abuse in front of kids and ruin their moment, so I told him he was out of order and should let the kids have their time and respect Nolan for giving them his time, regardless of what you think as at the end of the day it won't change anything anyway? The fans that abused Sullivan are out of order as he is West Ham through and through and tonight I read that he actually left early because his mother is gravely ill so respect to Sullivan and hoping I never see the minority of our fans that gave him abuse.

I'm not a big fan of Nolan's play, either, but I respect what he's done for us, AND the time he's given. I don't think there's many that question his commitment.

At the end of the day we were all peed off with the performance & even worse if you travelled up there, but no need to have a go at sullivan like that.Hes not a young man anymore,& he looked really shaken up.Imo him & david gold have been great chairmen for our club & why slag off KB as well? Those so-called westham fans fans should be ashamed of themselves..

Shameful behaviour. I cringed to think such foul thugs claim to be West Ham supporters. Identify the 2 biggest loudmouths and ban them for life.

These so called fans should be ashamed of themselves. Really don't know what they thought they would gain from these appalling actions. Got to say fair play to Sullivan for trying to talk with these imbeciles and for keeping his cool. If it was me being spoken to like that I'd have lost my rag!

I would not have been able to be so composed as that!

When you realise that David Sullivan was outvoted by David Gold and Karen Bradey and we kept Big Sam even though he is the majority shareholder and he wanted Sam out, these fans have got it wrong!!!
Big big rumours that Big Sam's contract wont be renewed anyway due to his persistance in playing Nolan and sending Zarate out on loan the cup exit and slipping down the league will not keep these fans from complaining!
I never wanted Allardyce here but just for a time I thought he had changed early in the season, but bringing back Nolan and Carroll and an unfit Noble instead of keeping Valencia and Sakho (when fit) with Downing behind them has backfired on him, no wonder these fans were angry imo but they are having a go at the wrong person!!!

A D Bonds

Since when do West Ham fans pick on pensioners in mobs, especially one who has helped avoid financial meltdown of our club, implemented a solid business plan for the future, secured a new home for the next 100 years and already smashed our transfer record on more than one occasion. I know they are business men who will make a lot of money out if it but think Forest, Leeds, Coventry, Pompey to name a few and give the man a bit of respect for once. Shame on you.

I congratulate Mr Sullivan for even trying to entertain them which he did not have to do.
Yes they have every right to be angry but not at the Chairmen that is ridiculous.
If it drives you mad enough to walk onto a 4 foot pensioner screaming like a crazed loon then stop bloody going.
