Academy member myself mate, but havnt tried to get a season ticket for new stadium, simply because i wouldnt be able to make all the games due to work, etc.im just going to wait & see if there are tickets on offer next season but im not holding me breath!!
I thought you had to pay £10 to go into the queue for a season ticket, or 'priority' list as they call it, might be wrong but that was the info I had emailed to me
I think you could be right H65, when I read the details it said nothing about gauranteed tickets, just to be added on the list, if the list is huge then there's going to be disappointed people and I doubt there'll be a refund
If 10,000 on the list dont get tickets not a bad bit of loose change for sugo...dont get me wrong they have been good owners in general,im just getting a bit peeved at the expense of everything. It used to be a working mans sport!I got tickets for the west brom game last week, admittedly the cost was a bit more reasonable-£50 for me,£30 each for my 2.But i was on the phone for nearly half hr,it all adds up..Rant over ;)
Even paying that price for west brom isnt cheap, but its the last season that we are going to get to see the hammers at the boleyn so i suppose they have got us over a barrell!!
The o/s will have 52,000 seats. Are there that many hammers supporters on top of our current full house capacity that would want the additional tickets each week? Point being , apart from the big guns ( although i Have just got tickets for chelski game this week from general sales) won't there be enough tickets on general sale to avoid having to pay a registration fee to be on a waiting list? Or is it just about getting the best seats ?
How many people take up season tickets!Yes you will have the 25/30,000 normal season ticket holders, but i bet there will be a lot more once we move into the o.s.The price is reasonable & there is a waiting list, also apparently free tickets are going to be distributed to the local community.I hope there will be spare tickets available for the likes of us but im not counting on it!!

I think it's a fair observation though mate, I can't imagine many families can afford to take their kids to see us at home to teams like Chelsea/ City
