Great sense of humour, was lucky to work and play football with one of his sons at Spall Sports, Danny, as he was a nice bloke with a similar sense of humour. Played for Hornchurch over at Witham once and as I was warming up to come on, this bloke starting taking the piss out of me and i tried to ignore him. He kept on and so i turned round to have a go back but was stopped in my tracks as it was Greavsie himself, I just had to laugh and take it for once. His other son was playing for Witham and apparently it was a regular thing!
