The vagaries of the Internet frame work and back bone never cease to amaze, and as such it should not be surprising that some spaced out hippy in server land decided to upgrade the sever on boxing day! Anyway, we are back and with extra sever space and speed now! Apparently they are going to name the sever AC due to it's amount of down time! - Ed Roll on the Saints

Nice one Nev, not the first to say it but great work with the site - glad its back online! Now... as for tomorrows game, are we gonna actually be able to field a squad with Tomkins and Cress to add to the injury list?

Just watched the replay today, and by gum we were under par against a Villa team that has been struggling all season. They were the better side, but no way the referee should have awarded the penalty, especially after that initial tug on Ogbonna's shirt (Ogbonna received a yellow in the first half for a similar tug on a Villa player's shirt). At the other end I could see the referee not awarding a penalty although Noble's strike was goal bound. The Villa player was trying to protect his face with his hand. However, the second penalty was 100 % a penalty as the defender stretched out his arm to stop the pass from Song. Once again awful referee decision from an experienced referee. Maybe, in his mind he thought that it would not be justice, since Villa deserved to win comfortably if it was not for Collins and Adrian to a certain extent. The players that were substandard were Noble, Antonio and Zarate. Zarate has the skill but was trying to do too much, and losing the ball too often. Kouyate was not creative enough, and Noble was even worse as he held up play. Valencia just did not offer that spirit to score, except from his free-kick in the final seconds of the game. When Collins is once again MOM, for the second week in a row, then you know that there is a deep problem with the key players that are missing.

Also, watched Arsenal get thumped by Southampton, and all I can say is, that they were lucky not to go home with a cricket score against them. With our key defenders missing for the Southampton game, I am not looking forward to the game on Monday. Hope Lanzini is fit to start as Valencia needs a creative midfielder to get him moving. Otherwise, if Boxing Day is the reflection of the two teams' form, then we are going to be fodder for the Southampton cattle.
