The Afternoon after the Night before!

So. After the uninspiring victory over AFC Bournemouth last night. What did we learn. Or more importantly. What did J Lo learn?
I think Coufal is now a spent force. All he seemed to want to do was look for a backwards pass. Wan-Bissaka looks mustard. Todibo looks like he needs a few games but he has pace. His withdrawl at HT highlighted how vulnerable we are defensively to attacking pace with Mavrapanos & Coufal defending down the right. Alvarez was Alvarez. Dogged and determined. JWP & Soucek contribute absolutely nothing to the team in open play. Summerville looks like he will be a threat when he finds his fight. Though his preference to drive at defenders rather than cross the ball is not going to do any favours to our German striker Fullkrug. Rodriguez was a worthy replacement for Alvarez. Dropping JWP and Soucek for Paqueta & Kudus is a must. But keep Summerville out wide on the left. He could be a great foil for Emerson. Eould a 4-1-4-1 suit? Still work to be done but when this team click. Things could happen.

A sub note on last night. Was we not heavily linked with the Bournemouth midfielder Scott when he was at Bristol City? He looked good after a long absence with injury.

Just does not work...we have seen enough of it and when the subs happened i think very few were surprised who would be coming off....Now i am not having a go at the manager yet!! as he is still getting to see the players reactions in competitive matches and will make selections in future i am sure by seeing who works and who doesn't and JWP just does not work.......Alvarez/Soucek/JWP all together was something none of us want to see again.
Alvarez yes JWP no Soucek an impact sub maybe but as a mainstay in the middle of the park not for me...Bournemouth were very unlucky last night and they played some good football and yes Enfield Scott looked very good indeed....as for us it was Bissaka for me he looks like a Rolls Royce at a ford escort plant....firstly i did not realise how big he is and the pace he has is frightening and all that for £15million talk about a bargain what were manure thinking.

As for the draw i urge all football fans to now boycott this competition until this stupid seeding of teams in Europe is withdrawn.. all teams should be put in the hat and drawn equally you get what you get but we all no this is deliberately rigged so they hopefully get a the so called elite clubs through and a big final for a competition that has become outdated.

This is a really big worry to me about J Lo. Would love him to explain how these two are even in the squad yet he is happy to persist with then which I think is concern. Appreciate McB you are not having a go at the manger yet but for me the honeymoon is over. Two unconvincing wins. I am happy with the clean sheets but when do we start signing "are you Moyes in disguise"?

A "second" team put out that could well start a Premier League game (Cresswell dropping out excepted) instead of a bunch of kids, unwanted reserves and a team going through the motions of playing in a largely unwanted competition. Then to bring on players off the bench, Kudus, Paqueta, Rodriguez, Emerson, Mavropanos with Antonio and Guilherme still sitting on it and Ings not even in the squad.
F**k me, three games in and listen to you lot. Here's a reminder of the situation and what some of you were saying at this point of the season under Moyes last year https://westhamfans.org/content/live-lincoln-v-west-ham-line-ups
