how long before carroll joins him!.....seriously hows our luck it always happens to us.....with feghouli out and tore just back from injury I think we will at least see antonio in the position best suited to his talents

Absolute joke. Hopefully this will mean having Antonio back in his favoured attacking role as you say. One silver lining perhaps.

Also Payet picked up a minor knock and being rested for Sunday. Nordveit also a slight injury but not sure of the extent. According to other sites, Antonio left training early without permission so seems like a rift. This is not looking good at all.

Costa slid into him hard, studs up. Really should have been sent off. So the injury room is looking full. Gotta hope that we have enough strength in numbers to defeat both Astra Giurgiu and Bournemouth. Here in Australia, Optus got the rights to premier league matches, which means I don't get to see any games anymore, but if we get relegated I will, because the championship is on Foxtel. Hmmm ...

would not be missed considering Mondays performance and we have obiang who deserves a go in the team...as for payet I think slavs jus resting him for sunday and the boost he'll give the crowd on our home league debut.....plus with citeh after that bilic wants to have at least 3 points on the board before the break

we need this win tonight just to pick everyone up, can't believe how we pick up so many injuries, could be that we are too cautious, Monday night we lost so many 50 50 balls. Get stuck in!

usually the team that gets stuck in has fewer injuries, don't know why. But Ayew must have been tight already -- his was one of those injuries that comes, like the hamstring, from sudden exertion. The non-contact injuries can be really bad (remember Jack Collison?). Hope that Ayew isn't too damaged by this.

There should be some sort of insurance policy or warranty when you buy a player... if they break in their first month of purchase can you take them back??
