Andy Carrol is available for the Spurs match in 2 weeks time, not too sure if he will be fit for the carabeo cup match against them but still he cant do any worse than Perez or Antonio.

Hes excellent in the air,but a clumsy player on the ground,flat footed and slow,i just cant see him fitting in now,other than waiting around for set plays.

If available,i think overall and to stop confusion,it would be best to take the offer,i will give them a ring,see what i can get,and have a beer on the proceeds.Notice I said a beer and not a round,as i wouldn't hope for much more than a price of a pint for him LOL.

Doesnt it take a few games to get up to speed??This is carroll we are talking about!!
First game back as usual he will glide about like bambi on ice,but leaving his elbow out all over the gaff,then maybe take about 3 games to get back into the swing of things & might even score a couple of goals...
Then as per we will all think Super Andy is back,but he will probably fall arse over tit & be out again for 6 months!!

Cover for Arnie

If Carrol can keep fit even till Christmas We know that's asking a lot it would take the pressure of Arnie and I don't think this will happen with Chicko or Perez or Antonio should they have to come on in the second half. Perhaps it will pay us to put Carrol in the shop window because I think we will have another clearout in Jan and top of the list for me is Antonio and Chiko, not Carrol.
