But if not, i do believe austin could do well for us!Though he probably is overpriced,& also im not sure if sugo will want to pay 15 mill for him especially after regretting paying that much for injury prone andy carroll!!The report is in the metro-that rag has been saying for weeks now that we have made bids for all & sundry,i wouldnt beleive everything they write....

I think this transfer window has been worse than ever for the media linking us with every player under the sun, perhaps they've had a helping hand

The metro just tends to report the rumours the rest of us see on the internet.dont think I've ever seen an exclusive. Let's face it none of the newspapers really know what's going on.

That West Ham haven't even looked at Austin has they think he is over priced , and have not put any bids in or are going to.

Well I am not sure we will go for Austin. Bad news re Zarate who is out for a few games with an injury so we have Sakho and Maiga. What a mess we are in!

Not sure he would and I think that is the problem paying £15m, especially after the Carroll situation with injuries. I'm sure I read a while back somewhere that Austin has a lot of problems with one of his knee's, also heard someone else talking about it.

Failed medical surely means massive premiums for insurance or none at all, so I just can't see them taking the risk IMO

How about Jarvis, Nolan, Maiga, Randolph & Amalfitano all as a swap for Austin, Green and Hoilet/Phillips? Release 5, get 3 in. Solves the keeper, striker, winger problem. Should work...?

I think Sullivan has made unnecessary comments, not interested in the player then fine but to question his fitness/ injury problems is none of his concern if he's not buying him, if it's a way of trying to drive down the price then he's also succeeded in driving a wedge between him and the player. I can't get my head around our transfer business, we seem to identify targets and then offer ridiculously low amounts of money for them, Yilmaz being the latest, even though we have one fit striker that is capable of scoring goals, the owners are hanging the manager out to dry again, just like they did with Allardyce
