Has anybody read Karen Brady's Letter to WHU fans she seems completely oblivious to the concessions problem, and I think that she expects this problem to go away. As Neville wrote about Danny Inngs and the waste of money for Calvin Phillips shows how out of touch she is. Affordable football- looking after the academy, we are going in the right direction with WHU women's team- 6th, three seasons ago then 8th now there 11th so I don't know what she's on about -completely wired up wrong, or perhaps she doesn't care all the sun she had out in Arabia has gone to her head -no wonder she could not find any investors. It has been estimated that cutting the concessions will save the club £600,000 but even if this amount is £1milloin, investing in family entertainment is a better investment than a lot of players that West Ham have lost money on, Ajeji, Wiltshire,Nasri, Vlassic, and Haller to name but a few. I think That the youth are the best return, because they are the future of West Ham, My father, and my kids are all West Ham fans, and my granddaughter who is 4 will, if she supports Spuds she lives in the shed,-Simples. This is how it has always been it used to be a family club, but not now apparently. Grandads buy programs and food and drink I will buy my Nephew's merchandise from the shop just like the tourists, and if we got relegated he would still be wearing it- but the tourists will be at Chelsea or Arsenal won't, they will buy a matchday scarf have a hot dog and that will be it a souvenir of the day - they are not true fans. So it looks like the clearing out of over 66's and under 18's out of the Lower tier is imminent and I will have to give renewing my season ticket a lot of thought. The board will be relying on supporters like me who have supported West Ham all their lives, I will always be a West Ham fan until I die. I enjoyed watching live football looks like this is going to be taken away unless I can Find the extra cash that it will cost me and my granddaughter, which will not be easy in todays day and age, so much for affordable football. I was watching my team before Lady Brady was even born. Let's hope that all this greed stops Brady thinks she is a businesswoman then let's see it, what's the explanation? why do you need to kick dedicated fans in the teeth over £600,000 When you have wasted millions over the past few years it's about time the board changed its greedy attitude and started thinking about its Supporters NOT its customers. Please sign the petition @change.org/oppose season ticket rises & changes to West Hams concessions or the Hammers United petition

That is what happens when people who do not have to worry where the next penny is coming from make decisions...and Cast Iron i am sure it did not come as a surprise to all and sundry

Well it looks like like the petitions are making them think and they are starting to crumble. They have issued another open letter on the club website think they realize just how much opposition there is to this piss-take of an idea. Don't want to state the Flipping obvious but had the season ticket holders not made a stand it would have gone through-there is absolutely no doubt in my mind.

I think its a step in the right direction but as you say "crumble" or should that be "crumbs" of comfort.

£600K , really? FSA...all this bad feeling for the sake of the square root of nothing in terms of players salaries ? Who the hell are advising these people... The same person that arranged the Tory Party campaign? Total shambles and the whole board should hang their heads with shame.

I have already mentioned my own personal circumstances, Im 65 (birthday yesterday), so also angry that the concession was moved to 66 and I would be expected to move my seat up in the gods in row ZZZ, no longer sat with Bruv and mates.. well sod that! No surprise I am no longer a season ticket holder.

I guess I am typical of the fan they wish to "hurt". Its true I can afford the full price but why should I? I would be sat near at least 6 other pals that will be paying nearly half the price for watching the same dross.

Its not about me, its about the future. No concessions to the kids is MUCH more important and that must be addressed.

Good on HAMMERS UNITED, hope they are successful and stay away folks from that Micky Mouse friendly The Betway Cup which I hope will be known this season as the NOWAY CUP!

Because every owner of every club knows that the fans of the club are like addicts and need there fix a very much captive audience...as we all know once you have your club you cannot change it its part of your identity in life and so owners will abuse that loyalty as far as they can

Its an addiction!

I am in total support of HAMMERS UNITED and as previously said, had I been home, I wouldnt have gone to the BetNoWay cup game. That said, they are also calling to boycott the club merchandise and I have to admit I bought the new home shirt and the full kit for my 5 YO grandson! Why? Because Im an addict that the board can abuse!!!
