3 year deal rumour is doing the rounds again, it seems to be an annual one that comes round but let's all hope this time it's 'proper!'

Decent player with 111 goals in 161 games in the Turkish league.

Thoughts on this one, DITM, Lenuse and Iusedtosupportspurs are welcome to have a row over this topic also........

He got 16 in 28 last season. Blokes got a very good goal scoring record. For 6.4 mill i'd take him over The overrated QpHa player in austin

He is a decent player but has not been on fire for over a year or two.

Bilic may know something if he is going to bring him in.

For 9 million euros 7 million squid he is probably worth it, 3 years ago it would have been 15 million.

I can't get excited about this one really, I don't know the Turkish league but doubt there is a depth to the competition to rival the big leagues so more difficult to assess the goal record in context. Just seems to me like his best football may be behind him. You never know and at least Slav will have a decent insight to him rather than just taking a punt.

I think the owners are being sensible, he's not worth anywhere near £15 million pounds and if we all think Austin will be our saviour then I'm getting worried, he's had one decent season in the Premiership people!

Every day we are supposedly signing this player & that player but nothing concrete at the moment. We need another striker & decent midfielder by the end of the window....

Bilic has now denied we are looking at Yilmaz. Seems to be rumour and counter rumour and it is getting wearing. Looks like being an anti-climax as the transfers diminish. Thought Gold and Sullivan might have gone deep into the coffers for a major signing. Maybe that was Payet!
