Calvalho

Currently watching Portugal v Spain 30 mins gone and calvalho looks like he would have fitted in lovely at West Ham last season. Ok different position require different ways of playing and everyone is entitled to a bad run but this guy hasn't touched the ball and has strolled casually through the first half hour making mark noble look like a whippet! Surely he isn't this bad.

Well the game is now over and I'd say William calvalho has a style of play no at all suited to the prem. you can see why he hasn't been picked up. He could probably get away with his play at Man city but the rest? I doubt it. 40 mill? Laughable. He is very disciplined in his positioning. But where he would fail IMO is he is slow, not mobile at all and just can't get around the field to play in England. Yesterday I'd say he was so ineffective he was more a liability to Portugal than a help.

Agree , He looked slow , Lost and confused most of the Time .. On that showing i would not Touch him with a barge Pole

The snake is injured that's why he couldn't play for France. When I watched Carvello he reminded me a bit of Kouyate. his passing was more accurate and i only saw him do 1 bad pass in about 25. AS you say its if he fits in with the way we play That will be down to pellegreni and You silly arse.
