Is it a case of.... I dare you to sack me I'm too big or will the BBC take the bull by the horns and sack him for what he has allegedly done.

Clarkson supports Chelsea, for that he deserves a lot worse than sacking! It also shows what I've always thought about him: he's a loud mouthed ignoramus. :-)

Meanwhile....................Back at the Top Gear Testing Track. Hammond, May & The Stig are deciding what to do with that old Plumsack Clarkson's Stonewash Jeans collection!! Rumour has it Adrian Chiles has put a bid in for them!!!

But very difficult to sack the front man for the world's most popular factual tv program. When you think about it being the world's most popular not just Britain's it is amazing and that's a fair bit to do with why the act of sacking him is so difficult. I think this one will run further than an E Type with a full tank.

Bondsy .. Totally agree .. "imo" .. He is just another complete Mega Overpaid *ickhead the UK TV is full of them these days .. Come on BBC show some Balls for a change and Sack him !

i must be in the minority but imo he's the best presenter by far the bbc has got and along with may and Hammond top gear is a quality show. and lets not forget the bbc know that themselves..

The bbc will be fools to get rid.he is the majority shareholder and owns the rights to the program so I am sure if the bbc shelved the program then channel 4 or sky would snap it up and for much more money than he gets from the bbc. Personally I like him.

100,000 signatures in a couple of hours for motormouth yet animal cruelty and child abuse victims...they never get enough signatures to make a difference, i do wonder about people some times!

One of his comments (the one on the bridge) using the word SLOPE which is deemed derogatory now slap me if I am wrong here but in all honesty how many people (before all the hoo ha broke out) actually knew it was a derogatory term? I like the bloke makes a mockery of the PC brigade and for that I am thankful and be honest peeps he only says what a lot of us think!

I can take him or leave him tbh and you're right, he says a lot of stuff that in Alf Garnett's day would have been deemed 'normal'.
Treating one of his production team like crap in front of people, however, is inexcusable.
Jump in the helicopter and get Chinese take/flyaway if need be...

I think we are in danger if it hasn't already happened, that we paint our terrestrial TV completely beige. Show after show with the affable, mundanity of Ant and Dec and Schofield, David Walliams ( is he or isn't he? it's so fiunny ) grinning like a cheshire cat and Cowell's birds nest hairdo, coz your mum likes them is becoming the norm. Non PC presenters, or anyone with views other than mainstream, are being pushed out. I neither am a fan of Clarkson's nor particularly of Top Gear. In fact I find the fact you have middle aged men, looking like they've been groomed by Noel Edmond's blouse maker, with long hair and travelling beads a bit cringe worthy. That aside of course if I don't like it, I don't have to watch, but to take that choice away, is taking things too far. we used to celebrate rebel rousers now we apparently despise them, because that's what "they" tell us to do.
