Listening to 'Moore Than Just A Podcast' and the subject of bids would be accepted for these players, correct me but Soucek is a 1st team player, not just a squad member. Diop may not be in the 1st team, but it's going to take Aguerd a while to settle, we've signed Downes but he is raw and never played Premier League football before. If these players are sold then this makes the squad even smaller than last season.
As is Vlasic, he may not have set the Premier League alight last season but he's still 'Strong' We read Dawson wants eventually to return up North, as does Cresswell so it's been reported. Unless the squad will be bulked out by the U23's.

with the amont of games expected if we qualify for the conference league proper is our squad big enough to cope with the various competitions.....but there is also this homegrown rule which i think is focusing Moyes mind a lot as well and maybe thats one of the reasons behind the Soucek thing? who knows
I wouldn't be too bothered
As long as we can get 3 decent alternatives,diop & vlasic just havnt cut it imo & Souscek? A year ago he was one of the first players on the team sheet,but last season I thought he was poor & went missing in most games
I think Soucek’s dip in form
I think Soucek’s dip in form was because of Rice changing his role in the team, Soucek was much better when he was free to get forward and get into the box, now he’s had to change that to suit Rice

You see that like the rest of us and if as Moyes always says its about the TEAM not individuals then he should of seen he was losing the goals that Soucek brings when played in his proper role and been man enough to realise he made a mistake.

Yes that’s true mate, I would hope that it wasn’t due to Rice saying that he wanted to get forward more and become a more versatile midfielder but you never know I guess, for me Rice looks like a centre half when he’s in the final third, he’s an excellent defensive midfielder but Soucek will get you more goals in a season
