Bit of a hot potato this one?
Certainly in some quarters. Rightly so in some cases, but not all?
Now take Ince and Defoe as the vitriolic benchmark. For reasons set in history. Wearing a potential and as it proved eventual home shirt and having your mug pictured. Or for handing in a transfer request no sooner than you'd washed yer balls after relegation.
Big Fat Frank, (what a chant that is by the way) A victim of nepotism and the Uncle Harry era. I never really got the furore behind that one. Frank went on to become one of the best midfielders this country has produced. I'd welcome him back. But what about Joe Cole, Carlos Tevez? Nothing doing there.
Payet was a twat, so that one is a given. Mark Noble absolute legend. But what if he had a go at managing us? He crashes and burns. What then? Dogs abuse, Noble out?
Many have come and gone. Take Dec for instance, learnt the ropes from Noble. Always gave his all for the club. Never wanted away. Never slagged us off. Never threw his toys out of the pram. But he wasn't one of our own as he was a Chelsea reject. Notwithstanding the fact he was with us since being a kid! So I don't buy that view in any way shape or form.
He didn't go to ManUre, Liverpool, Man City, but to Arsenal. To further his career, now he has 100 appearances for the Arse in the Prem. SF of the Champions League, pole position for the League title. But he still gets untold sh*t from some. Don't get that one. I waved goodbye and wished him all the best, I still do. But thats just me, each to their own I suppose...

Declan Rice
I'm with you on that one boogers i just do not get why some supporters give him untold grief is it because he said he left to win trophies? but don't all players want to do that.
Ince is the one for me followed by Defoe....there are ways of doing things and they did it all wrong and deserved the shit they got when they played us. Tevez well when the news broke we had signed him and Maschirano(nope don't rmbr how to spell that name!)i thought then how the hell have we done that then the old 3rd party ownership came to light and they were just parked with us till the bigger clubs could get em so Tevez for me is someone i would not give shit to.
Kudus for me is the latest shit bag and it's a shame when we beat the spuds he wasn't playing....Pacman and all that mess and feigning loyalty but just wanting out good riddance you diving ponce.
As fans we all have our favs and players we do not want in the side through personal beliefs but apart from some friendly banter lifes to short to worry over those no longer here.
Players you would like to see back? well it has to be Fornals at the front of that line and Lanzini at his best for sure and of course the ultimate maverick PDC one of my and i suspect many fans favourite players but sadly we do not have a time machine to get him back when he was at his outrageous best.
Kudus
Spot on Mc
Great post Boogers... again
Ince and Defoe are in a class of their own, hell I would still boo them if i just saw them in the street. Particularly dislike Defoe, ex St Bons boy that joined Rangers said it all, would never have happened in my day.
Payet, Tev, Pacman and maybe add Linz to the list.. Im pretty neutral about. They entertained and in some cases can be truly called Game Changers.
Noble should have the job one day and I think he would be given more time than most.
Frank, the club dumped on his Dad and Uncle so what did we expect?
Lastly Declan. Great player and a true gentleman. Hope he gets the success we couldn't offer whether at Arse or probably a bigger European club. Next England captain.
