impossible I know and undeserved but I want to talk about how much more fluid we were today and how much better we were through the middle of the park we were quicker sharper in moving the ball...obiang was immense and lanzini had a great game.....will noble struggle to get back in on todays performance? sakho of course way off match fitness tried hard but he was heavy legged but games under his belt he will get that back its just unfortunate those games are manure gooners and poo.........fernandes looked good again Antonio just gets better and better and scores no matter what position he plays in. we still have work to do of course but despite the travesty of todays result the team played well for 89mins!

Im gonna be honest here. You watched a different game to me. Today proved exactly why Noble will walk straight back in to the side. Today, Astra in the summer, Anfield in the cup last season we struggled to string 3 passes together and fell apart. We played alright in spells on the counter, mainly through Payet. Biggest issue is the system. This system is not suited to our current players at all. We basically played without a center midfied today. Lanzini was everywhere but the middle. Lost count of the amount of times Wanyama and Dembele walked through the middle. Payet gets starved of the ball, Cresswell needs someone to overlap off of and Antonio isnt a wing back. We need to go back to 4231. Maybe even 442, the problem at the start of the season wasnt the tactics as show by the amount of goals we scored but certain players operating in it. E.g Kouyate who wouldnt track back, a non match fit Lanzini and a clearly tired Noble. Unfortunately it wouldn't surprise me if we went down but if it happened the blame should all go to the board. Also today proved exactly why Bilic is reluctant to play randolph, hes not good enough period, adrian has his faults but none as major as Randolphs HUGE GLARING NEAR POST WEAKNESS.

I totally agree with almost everything you said there Fred. Apart from it being the boards fault. Buck stops with bilic and he isn't what cracked up to be. We need to get back to four at the back and I was surprised ayew played centre mid. Fernandes may have been a better bet. Lanzini flattered to deceive IMO. We probably played tactically ok and I thought we were very disciplined on the backfoot for most of the game, to the point Spurs looked lacking in ideas! Altho it was clear sakho wasn't 100 per cent there were signs of better movement up front. Ayew should have been given a run up top when sakho tired rather than zaza. I'm shocked we lost that as I couldn't see Spurs scoring! Reid and obiang were the best players on the pitch, gobsmacked that Kane was given it (bt sport)as he was non existent apart from a pen and an open goal after a poor play from the keeper and no marking from ogbonna. Message to ogbonna keep you bloody hands to yourself! It's embarrassing seeing him wrestle with a player at EVERY ball

Dont think either keeper is better than the other to be honest. Both can make great saves but both can be very poor and even calamitous at times. our biggest problem is conceding goals. The players we have in defence should be able to do the job as should the Midfielders but they are not. We have no recognised fully fit striker (zaza is just a waste of time ). So blame the board and billic for bad signings as both responsible. Blame billic for poor tactics and not being able to get the team playing like most of last season. All in all its a mess. That said i can see us possibly winning the EFL cup , such is football, but we will be in a relegation dog fight until the end of the season unless something changes fast.

Last season was the first season for a very long time well we are back to the west ham way, looking over our shoulder watching how Sunderland and Hull Etc are doing when we are fighting relegation This match and Everton will spring to mind when we come to the last 3 games of the season. ZAZZZZZZZZZZa had the chance to wrap this game up, what a Palsy shot Ive seen under 16s hit the ball harder it only just reached the keeper. Think Sacko is only playng to get hmself fit for the african nations he will be in the shop window there, he certainly did not look like he wanted to play for West Ham. Best player on the field was Reed another player we are gong to miss against Arsenal. I just hope our main players are fit for Christmas otherwise its the Championship 4 us

I've got to say the game changed on Bilics substitution. At least bring on Collins if your going for the defensive finish. Unfortunately this decision cost us. I'm a huge supporter of Bilic, but that decision lost us the game.

I am still reeling as to why Jansen at very least did not get a yellow for his challenge on Kouyate I thought he was targeted quite a lot throughout the match! As for Sakho I thought he chased well but ran out of steam, for me I hope he regains full fitness as I think he has plenty of goals in him given the service he will get.
