John ruddy has been released by Norwich I see he's avery good G/K I think so would anyone here other than me like to see him replace Randolph? and compete for the first team with Adrian if we take up his contract option

Adrian is a top GK - not world class, but unless we are able to sign the likes of De Gea, Courtois, Buffon or Neur we wont get much better. Look at the amount of goals we conceded last season versus this one and the instant effect he has had to our defence since getting back in the team

Adrian was having a bit of a mare at the start of the season so dropping him for a few matches I thought was fair but to keep him out for so long when clearly Randolph was making so many errors costing us points that was the mistake.

Actually, Adrian was having a slight blip, he had only made 2 mistakes in about what 10 games? Hes cost us 2 points this season. You should never drop your keeper after 1 or 2 mistakes and I for one never believed he shouldve been dropped. As for Randolph hes been piss poor since day 1. The crazy thing is how many of his mistakes seem to have just been brushed under the carpet until it became blatantly obvious how shit he was. At the end of the day Adrian isnt world class but hes definitley one of the better keepers in the league and still has plenty of time to improve as hes a late bloomer. Yes hes prone to the odd mistake but he more then makes up with some of the saves he makes. Whereas Randolph is probably one of the worst keepers ive seen play a premier league game in general

I thought Randolph was a capable backup to Adrian and always did ok when required, however his long stint in the team was a total nightmare and he was at fault for a ridiculous number of goals and dropping him was LONG overdue

To keep him would be a simple answer,no doubt they hoped they would of come straight back up and now it has not happened they need to start cost cutting

Do you think then with the 2 yrs of parachute payments from the PL, they're looking at using the other half to have a good shot at promotion? Ruddy was as you say too pricey, and they need a cheaper better option like, Randolph to have a better crack at it?
