Is this truly happening, i have never experienced anything like it, beating all the big clubs first time round be they home or away.
If it keeps going we may have to change our song to Rule Brittania.

Maybe '66, but then again, how good is THIS team??? We don't even know yet. We have one more scalp to take, and if we do, has West Ham ever beaten the typical top 5 teams all in one season? SWEET is not even the word. SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!! is more like it.

This in no way is a critisism but there are still plenty big Slav can work on to improve this side! That means I think we can get even better as Slav gets his stamp more and more on the players.

and as i travelled abroad a lot in the 70s and 80s, where it was had to follow them every week, i also cannot remember a time like this, i felt you could sense something in the first half of last season, but i do think we have a great opportunity to kick on, stay fit. COYI

No...We are getting better and stronger every time we go out to play.

We have different set ups and a manager willing to try something new, unlike Hippo Head who got lucky v the Geordies. Loving it... #COYI

I can't remember a better time at West Ham -- mind you at my age the old memory goes first!! LOL

But seriously: I've never seen us have such a strong squad, even the 80's side with Cottee and Frankie Mac, although we had a damn good first 11, we didn't have the strength in depth we have now. But they, of course, did it over the whole 85/86 season, we're only a quarter way through...

Yep Bully, like yourself I remember the 85/86 team and how good it was but as you point out, it's the strength in depth aspect that's astonishing.
Add to this a progressive manager (would someone like Payet have ever played for Allardyce....I don't think so?) and it almost seems too good to be true.
Try picking your strongest 11 and then have a gander of who you've left out-We are being spoilt!!

True for you red neck ,,that kind of self expression of unadulterated flair needs to be slapped down and quick about it ,bloody little upstarts next thing you know the fans will get all jittery and demand some sort of entertaining football, Payet ?ha ,what has he got that Nolan never had?, Shako ? Carlton would wipe the floor with him ,Lanzini ?,you cant have that much potential at such a young age ,should be kept out os sent on loan tills he's at least 30,and as for that manager, well its just not the west ham way is it ,? Should stick to what we know best ,back to the trustworthy English managers ,they know what their doing not like this bunch of foreigners, bloody upstarts

We still have a lot of room for improvement despite our fantastic season so far and one of the best squads I have ever seen. We have a manager now that has instilled a self belief in the players which is something I don't think we have ever had before in the premiership. we have a manager who has that self belief himself and as one of the players said yesterday 'tells us how to beat the teams we play' rather than 'respecting the point'. Can we continue this form to the end of the season ? Yes we can as long as we can keep players fit especially Payet and Lanzini. Fortune is no longer hiding for hammers fans and everywhere you look people are taking notice (except Lawro of course LOL!). Coyirons...

he's turned our club into a joke with all this football on the floor and goalscoring nonsense I'm not having it we need to be hovering above the bottom 3 from mid august until end of march then win few games to stay up now please can we have our west ham back!!

How on earth can this work? No one to launch the ball aimlessly out from the back? No trundler in the hole stealing a place in the side. And the ability to control and pass a ball effectively! You guys will have egg all over your faces when you start scoring goals and playing entertaining football but have to fork out for a ticket every week to watch it. At least Sam saved me a lot of money! Sam in!
