He's out for the rest of the season! Guess who

Car jenkinson

Dodged a bullet there. Don't get me wrong -- we've no depth at RB, but Jenkinson this season was no answer to anything. I feel for the guy and hope he gets a chance somewhere else, but he won't play another game in C&B, I'm sure of that. Meanwhile, with Byram cup-tied, we face quite a challenge at Anfield. Who can score more goals?

I have a strange feeling that we've just put him out of his misery. He'll be heading back to Arsenal. Doubt he was having a good time this season round. He just let himself down this season. Mentally not fit for football.

Hope the lad recovers physically and mentally. Everything just made things worse for him. I agree gerus it could be a lack of mental toughness hope it doesn't ruin him.

Totally agree ,himself and Cress were the greatest thing since sliced bread last year ,he needs to drop to a lower division for a while ,try and get his mojo back

Burkie 1

Difference being not playing defensive football means they were both more exposed this season. But on one end of the scale you have cresswells who after a shaky mixed start has adapted well and been playing very well again then the other end which is Jenks who just cant adapt and cant learn. I wouldn't have minded him as much had it not been the same mistakes being made over and over which shows how poor his mental side of the game is

Cresswell will go forward and get back to defend - he does this very well for the most part, but Jenks panics I think and lets too many players get past him and into dangerous positions, hence last ditch tackles that give away penalties!

We are " showing sympathy" and " feeling sorry" for a guy who is in the prime of his life and has the luxury of a ( no doubt huge) 5 year deal for one of the biggest clubs in Europe!!!

FFS!!

There's wars/famines/atrocities happening all around us as we speak!!

Its proportionate sympathy mate - there is no comparison between being a premier league footballer and a refugee of war torn country. You can feel sympathy for both but obviously the sympathy for victims of war, famines and genocide would be incomparable!

I know Andy but people are getting " all steamed up" because he's picked up an injury !!

He's not the 1st footballer to do so (_as we all too well know as a club)!!

Said "sympathy" also seems to be derived from the fact that " he's confused about clubs" etc.

Confused my Arse.

HE CHOSE ( can't imagine it was an awfully tough choice when somebody dangles a £30k/40k a week deal in front of you) to sign for Arsenal .

Can't for the life of me see things from their angle as I cannot believe THEY EVER intended to make him 1st choice RB but that's their business.

As for him he got the chance to play for a very up and coming team who have about the most passionate fans in the business!!

Why he's been turning in performances ( ie absolute dog poo) is anybodies guess.

If its because " he's confused" or simply doesn't want to be here then I think he should sort that out with himself and his parent club!!!

Made a couple of mistakes (doesnt everybody!!).The squad being so strong had a ready replacement in tonks, now we have young sam byram for years to come..jenks will be ok ,got an injury, that has set him back but he still has time to shine...

The Lesbian sussed him a while back and signed him to ensure some sell on value. Problem is we've used him and highlighted his incompetence as a defender. He'll be in cell block H back at the library.
At least he can work on his beard.
