Off topic & something a little different from the" will he or wont he go" saga (big Sam!) ive posted before & holidays are my thing.I would like to know where any of you fine orgers are going or planning to go,on holiday this year?.Anywhere exotic?or somewhere not too far from blighty?Me & her indoors have been to el gouna- egypt in january just gone, loved it weather was great, egyptian people very friendly.Booked algarve portugal for end of may & are planning to go to again in october! Now that flights go from southend airport (on my doorstep) we are planning to buy a place in the algarve for our retirement fingers crossed!!so how about your hols peeps??

Cairo in egypt has really been dodgy last couple of years. But the coastal resorts are 5 hours drive away so no problems there. But like you say mate i suppose it does put people off!!

And mallorca in Villa in August. Mallorca is brilliant if you have kids - only 2.5 hours away and wonderful weather in the summer. Luv it.

I'm down in Melbourne. Great place to live but we have been denied a hot summer this year which is ok if you don't like extreme heat and kept the bushfires down but we seem to have gone from spring to bloody winter!!

We booked, about 6 months ago, to go to Spain this year but Tilly has since suffered a broken leg and a subsequent blood clot. Still aiming to go for a week to Calpe, so fingers crossed. We have also booked Centre Parcs at Woburn for Tilly's 18th birthday later in the year, went there last year for the first time at a Centre Parcs and we all thought it was a fantastic place.

My fiancee' and I or off to Spain in October for a week, in April a long weekend in Ireland to see my son and daughter and attend my grandson Zacharys' christening (my daughters son) and see my granddaughter (Aria) my sons first born for the first time. As an exiled Cockney we will of course make our annual pilgrimage to London for a week or so.
