Have to give the bloke a chance I guess but for me I'm not overly impressed going by his form for Everton and then Hull, I should think he can't believe his luck burkie.....neither can the Hull fans

I don't understand the comments coming from the media about Hernandez, they reckon West Ham pulled out because he suddenly wanted £100k a week and a £90k goal bonus, this after only wanting around £60k in previous discussions, I really can't see Bayern Leverkusen paying that so this sounds like spin from the owners again to me, I also think we're holding out on Carroll suddenly becoming injury free, hope this doesn't prove to bite us on the arse again

Looks like Jelavic (£2.5M) and Song (loan) both passed medicals today and should soon be signed. Antonio (winger) from Forrest agreed for £8M and medical late today or tomorrow morning, Ljajic (striker) from Roma also £8m agreed today and medical tomorrow. Not bad if we get all four and maybe Moses on loan from Chelsea. These five seem to be the major ones we are after according to several red tops today. More results like the Liverpool game on Saturday if we get these players imo

I am sceptical about Ljajic transfer from Roma as the transfer window in Italy is now closed. I think we would have seen an announcement if the Ljajic transfer were a done deal. Also I think we will sign either Moses or Antonio but not BOTH players.
However I would love to be wrong on both counts!

Looks like West Brom may get Moses. Leicester have now bid for Antonio. Don't really want Jelavic as I think he is washed up. Not too worried if we don't get Moses but Antonio looks a good prospect. Probably we will end up with Lennon! Ljajic would be a good buy though! It is a lottery.

If you look at him as taking Maiga's place in the squad, I think it's an ok bit of business. Also Bilic should know his strengths, so might get the best out of him.

This is the idea - should be viewed as a backup striker only... what Maiga should of been for us. Hopefully the hoohah surrounding Daffy will prove to be bunk and Enner will make a speedy recovery. Then we got Carroll to return for about 2 games before he breaks again... if we get Zarate, Lanzini and Poyet rotating through the squad and bring in the other signings mentioned, we should be alright for goals

A technical term for an unpleasant or stupid person. As I do not personally know Mr Jelavic I could not possibly comment, however I could offer cows arse and banjo as a constructive alternative..?
