Let’s no sugar coat it

We were abysmal tonight. Worst performance in years. Antonio doesn’t even resemble a footballer let alone a striker. Arksnal are average at best and probaly as bad as the last Villa Grealish side for falling over, it was embarrassing at times. The ref got conned by the crowd, who by the way have two songs, that’s it. However it was our 2nd string back four and that is the only silver lining I can take. I can see us struggling against Norwich and maybe scraping over the line or drawing. If the owners are serious they go and spend in January, if they’re not, I can see us sliding into mid table mediocrity. We need a plan b Moysie

Lingard has to be a January option. Benrahma was piss poor when he came on inc losing the ball trying his signature dribble past too many players and they go forward and score. Just on Benrahma's signature move why always do it when the defender is in close proximity instead of attacking him into space?
Ant's needs a rest before his hammy twangs. It's gonna happen sooner or later unless he gets a break. Prob is the next few games are more than winnable with him in the side.

Disagree mate we’ve got enough tricky winger types. We need an and and out CF they way we play. Last night when Antonio went to right back and Bowen played up top we actually looked better and had our best spell. Every team in the league has two or more strikers even the crap ones. What’s this insistence on just having one makeshift striker? The argument that the next striker we sign will have to sit on the bench, we’ll I’m sorry but they’d have to be pretty bad to be ding that atm

Antonio had no presence and as much as that is down to him being out of form i think it also has a lot to do with Moyes tactics.....encouraging a team like Arsenal to come at you without any fear of us hitting them on the counter was only going to lead to trouble....as much as Moyes has done for us and changed us as a club we need him to change as well and not be so stubborn with his tactics and to realise sometimes when buying a player you do have to take a chance....our wafer thin squad has been performing marvelously but now with injuries and suspensions all in the one area which we cannot afford for that to happen has created a big problem and one that Moyes has to remedy fast if we are not to slip further down the table....Moyes needs to pad the squad out as some of the Academy players are not ready for regular first team involvment yet..

Traore anyone? Wolves seem keen to move him on and he is basically another Antonio have to say he is not a player i would buy as he may be big strong and quick but he does not score enough for me....in the end we will all have to wait and see but on last nights evidence Moyes cannot be dragging his feet regardless of the fact we have Norwich/Southampton/Watford in the league next games which have to be won now not drawn if we are to keep up.

your description of Traore is mine of Antonio. Like for like, so what's the point? we need something else, we need some proven quality, push the boat out for once, no bargain basement crap

But are we really champions league material? Not imo...we need additions that's obvious, but we are still in the cups & top 6 - 8 is achievable

Why not? We've been there or thereabouts for nearly a year now. We have a n opportunity to go for it, but I don't think we will, I don't think the board are capable of anymore than they are doing.

We’re on the slide guys. The bubble has burst a bit like at Leicester. Let’s hope for a top ten finish and maybe a cup semi final at least. They’ll be no new players coming in. Czech investor or not the smoke and mirrors are still being orchestrated by Sullivan.
