Got to be some golf fans/players on here?

day one complete and an absolutely quality performance from the 21yr old American Jordan Speith. What ability! Going to be some quality duels in the years ahead with this kid and McIlory. Shaping up beautifully as Woods enters his twilight yrs and the game looks for his replacement. These two could quite easily do it. Looking forward to 3more great days at the peerless Augusta National

Well a 2 day masterclass so

Well a 2 day masterclass so far, new course record through 36 holes and only one bogey so far. Finished 2nd on his debut at Augusta last yr after a final day fade. An absolute joy to watch and oozes confidence. Think I'll look to put my creaking old body through the pain of my brand of golf at some point this w/e

Spieth is simply on fire at

Spieth is simply on fire at the moment and is setting records all over the course. Johnson also had a fantastic day and is one to watch out for but there is still plenty of golf left to play and despite spieths commanding lead this could go close.

Loving it!

The Masters is shaping up very nicely and Speith was the pick of the lot yesterday with some great golf played. Mcilroy will surely get closer as the days progress and I fancy Mickelson to be close too this year. Speith and Day will be there or thereabouts but I just wonder if Speith has the experience or bottle if it goes to the wire on the final day!

Well burkie it's like the

Well burkie it's like the rugby players they all come under the IRFU north and south. The golfers come under the GUI north and south. No matter what part of the Island they come from, Rory with 4 Gmac and Darren with one apiece and Harrington with 3 Majors. That's 9 majors in the last 8 years. Not bad eh, by the way don't be surprised if Bubba gets fitted out for another green jacket. Speith will take some catching. Would love to see somebody from these Islands or Europe win for a change.

Spoil Sport!

Watching a player make history is boring?!? Ok not much competition today as the chasing pack haven't caught Spieth but ordinarily -14 or -15 would win any tournament. Not even Woods, Nicklaus, Player or Faldo have played this well at the Masters. No player that has ever graced the game has done what Spieth has done over these 4 days. I've loved every minute as this won't happen again in a long while!
