listening to media god guardiola moaning about 'killing players' due to xmas schedule makes him look pathetic. he knew what the prem league was before he came, so why does he think it should change to suit him? hes got a massive squad too so he has no argument. he and of course wenger just want a spanish style siesta over xmas. its tradition and as shearer says, players are paid their huge pay packets by tv to play for fans over xmas, so quit moaning or go back to spain. and all this city lovin, throwing the words like genuis, unbeatable, greatest. I remind us, they won noffink yet.
back in the day
42 games in the league league/f.a. cups and the old home and away european games all that with maybe 15/16 man squads at best...never much in way of rotation just players playing and on pitches that changed with the seasons not the carpets that they have today.....these managers/players today are pampered beyond belief and have there egos boosted 24/7.....more like reality t.v. stars than professional footballers/managers....right just about to call work tell them i have worked 3 times this week and the 4th times gonna kill me so they had better reschedule it......guessing what they would say!

The amount of substitutions in a match went from one to two. These days three makes it somewhat easier on players.

I've totally had a gut-full of these whinging twats. I'll be a sixty year old plasterer this year, tired, aching neck and back, arms & legs shagged out, but.. I get up and drag myself to the van for a poxy wage five long day's a week and get covered in shit and all I hear is these arseholes going on and on day after day, week after week how difficult things are. I can't stand Gaurdiola and his type, he's such a wanker as they all are, players included. Come and help me out for a week. I don't have a lot in common with these types and therefore only watch our games.

Like you say mate,they havnt a clue about a hard days graft!in the old days the apprentices used to clean the players boots,sweep the terraces & clean out the khazi!!Can you imagine asking them to do that nowadays??They would have a hissy fit!!;)

soon as the leagues stopped for a winters break off they will fly to the four corners of the earth to play lucratrive friendly matches..no mention of travel jet lag then....but would it not be fun if the prem said ok you can have a midwinter break but you are not allowed to play any football during that time any club breaking that rule will be deducted 20 points lol so do ya want a winter break punks well do ya go ahead make my day
