Money Man or Pacman?

So who do you think will win the biggest fight so far this century? I'm not staying up to watch it, last time I did for a Mayweather fight I fell asleep during the ring entrance and woke up with a bad hangover, but I am intrigued by the potential outcome. I think Mayweather will win on points and it could be boring, but Pac Man will have trained hard for this fight and one early punch could end it. Your thoughts/predictions?

Mayweathers the better fighter, but he also manages the money. Therefore, given he already has the 60/40 purse, one loss in his career means the biggest rematch of all time in money terms. The media craves a rematch with him as the underdog for the first time ever. Their both the wrong side of 35.....
Call me cynical....

You're quite probably right though Dazza. I used to love my boxing, but have gone off it over the years, with all the corruption etc. I was so into it I remember scoring every bout I could in the '84 Olympics in LA, and was gob smacked at how almost every bout was 'wrong.' Many of the judges were awful cheats, and the Yanks were the worst... never got over that as far as boxing's reputation was concerned. Hope that Pacquiao can knock that git out!

Two great fighters but as Darren has said both over 35 now so past there best . This fight should have been about 4 years ago but Mayweather did not fancy it .

Agree the fight should have been 5 years ago & that would have been immense.Mayweather has won all of his 47 fights, pac has lost 5!The money involved is obscene,& id love pacman to win as he is the humble guy-but just cant see it!Mayweather always does the business when he needs to...

I'd love to see the Pac Man knock mayweather out but can't see it to be honest. I agree with you ANTKB that it will probably go the distance and can see Mayweather being on the defensive and seeing it through.

There is no way the judges in Vegas will give the fight to Pac Man if it goes the distance and so probably a damp squib of a spectacle after all this hype.

It goes all the way and is called a draw? My mate has had a flutter at 14/1 as he thinks they will call it a draw to ensure a re-match given the money side, and I wouldn't be surprised if the judges were offered a few quid to make that happen.

Mayweather will retire in the next year or so with his features and brain in tact and be more financially secure than any other boxer, but I didn't stay up or pay to watch it as I prefer to watch more toe to toe stuff myself. He is a very clever boxer but not my cup of tea from a fighting and 'flashing his cash' perspective.

sounded a bit boring, certainly wasn't a fight to remember. Bit of a non-event considering all the hype and cash involved. Agree with you, not my cup of tea either.
