Well I have just been looking at the next few weeks fixtures. This would have been scary in the past but now there are little fears as we are capable of beating anyone at the moment or at least not losing. It is still going to be a tough few weeks as Palace home on April 2nd, Manure home April 6th and Arsenal home 12.45 on the 9th. It could also be another three games in a week with Leicester on the 17th, Watford home on the 20th and hopefully Everton on the 23rd. Out squad is better but still quite an ask and it will be interesting to see how Bilic picks the squad. Does Bilic want the FA cup or top 4 as a priority? He may want both but I feel he would love the cup this year. COYI
Slav has already said he
Slav has already said he wants FA Cup glory "me too",over a spot in the Champions League ed,but My Oh My it must be in the back of his mind now, i know it is mine, especially now that we are knocking on the door.
Not in the back of my mind.
Not in the back of my mind. The last few games have really shown we have hit some form at the right time. We're playing well, competing finally agast the teams we're expected to beat as well as the "Big' ones and I believe have a bit of a fear factor in our favour. Our home form is unreal this season with no defeats since August and we're a match for anyone away. I'd love the cup. I'm praying for the cup but feeling a little greedy too and want that 4th spot. Not going to be easy. Manure's run in is more favourable than ours and running through the fixtures yesterday I had them matching us point for point so we're gonna need a little luck in our favour. That has deserted us in the last cuple of games but if we can get it back we may just pip them to that 4th spot. The games are coming thick and fast and every one is now a cup final. The team is coming back to almost ful strength at just the right time so we keep doing what we're doing well and we could be entering that shiny new stadium as cup winners and with a few international visitors coming to take a look too!!! COYI
All of our games are
All of our games are potential wins, as long as we don't have to beat the Ref too!
slavs mantra
just concentrate on the 90mins in front of us not on anything else..... happy to do that
Follow Leicester's lead
And take it one game at a time. The possibilities are endless
setting it all in front of us like that
shows just how tough our run in is going to be. It's a jam-packed fixture list, especially when you add in the FA Cup replay on the 13th. Our team is as good as any of those we face, and the balance of home and away favours us. Very stiff competition for that 4th place, and it doesn't help that we are fighting the referees too. I think we can get 10 points from 5 league games, which would take us to our highest total ever. And we'd still be in the running for a CL spot if we do that.
The exciting thing with this
The exciting thing with this squad of players is that we can win every game.I fully expect us to beat Palace Arsenal Leicester and Watford in our next 4 league matches and we should already have beaten Man united in the cup so we are on our way to Wembley.Isn't confidence a wonderful thing. COYI.
Strangely I have more doubts
Strangely I have more doubts over the cup than I do over our league campaign, no idea why just a feeling, having said that won't all our players be back from injury by the time we play our next game? Obviously depends on any new injuries picked up in training or internationals. Must be a positive time for the run in.
The reason for that
is we will be playing MU and the ref !!!
Next 3 games
If we were to win all of them then I think we will be very excited, as Europe will be on the cards and the FA Cup just might happen. I can't remember ever being this excited as I don't ever remember having quality in depth like we have today?
if you had, one shot, or one
if you had, one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted. In one moment
Would you capture it, or just let it slip?
Come on you irons - u have the chance and the opportunity and can do it!!
Ass at home
Win that game and we will beat Manure then get at least a point at less Sir Shitty. It's been a good night and I'm here all week............
It's a good feeling, but as
It's a good feeling, but as many have said we don't just have to beat the teams we are up against!!!
There seems to be a bias against us (only one penalty given to us this season despite the replays showing at least six were certainties according to ex referee Howard Web).
I know some would say yeah! and your a biased West Ham fan but the recent penalties against us were very hard to take and the one Manure got gave them an undeserved life line in the FA Cup which may haunt us on the 13th?
I still think we have a great chance of 3rd or 4th spot as the others around us have to play difficult games as well especially Man City but as for the FA Cup I just keep my fingers crossed, it will be a nail biting time and a very close match which unfortunately may just have the same match offical as referee on the night! which replays tend to do!
