Players lack of professionalism

Yes Sam Allardyce has Instigated the bad results with very negative tactics and obviously the players are not happy playing In positions they are told to and with the style of football they are being asked to play, but they seem for quite some time now to have lost the ability to concentrate and take the game seriously and basically do a competent job.
We have all said they think they are on the beach already well how is that Sam Allardyce's fault?, surely for the money they earn at the very least they should be putting a shift in and being physically and mentally up for it, and not giving away silly goals to teams that are to be honest below par.
The fans who attend and the club itself surely deserve better from these players because they are better than they are showing, even if they are not happy with the style or the position they are asked to play.

its not their fault they earn all that dosh , its called the market economy , thousands of people want to go and see their club play football so maybe we're to blame , as you say playing in an unaccustomed position shouldn't be that much of a problem ,its when moral is affected that the problem arises s , look at the difference in the way they played when he took off Carlton Cole , even Nolan added a bit of oomph , i hate to keep going on about Cole but when your playing say mid field and you know the geezer up front isn't gona get a look in it has an effect on your game and that transcends throughout the team , their just not interested , wait till you see the difference next year under someone new , i think this bunch of players are among 'st the most talented we've had for ages , moral is on the floor , get rid of this guy before he brings the whole club down around our ankles

But even though it may to the players always seem like it is a lost cause you cannot seriously tell me other teams do not play this way, sometimes with worse players yet better than our lot do.
Agree Carlton Cole should not be anywhere near the pitch ever, one up is very bad for this team and Sam must go.

Players have lost commitment, it's true. But do you think Allardyce gives a stuff about it? Or if he does (let's say for the sake of pride; and he IS a proud man), do you think he has any leverage? He knows he's gone at the end of the season. They (the players) know he's gone. He can't use any methods to constrain them to work harder, and why should he want to do so? My gut feeling is that Sam went to Sugo around Christmas and asked for a new contract. They weren't about to oblige and it's been a downhill spiral ever since.

There could be some truth in that Ashes. After all he's reverted back to his relegation saver 5-4-1 formation and continues with his relegation saviour Nolan, along with Cole off the bench, despite this being proved beyond resonable doubt in 2015 it doesn't work. Why would you not try to tweak things just a little, a different substitution here and there rather than forcing players to sit on the bench knowing they won't get a game just to try and win a game, unless you knew that come the end of the season there's gonna be no new contract for you to sign? He's sticking two fingers up to the owners and the fans letting us and them know he doesn't care and if he can screw us over just a little more then he will.

I think in all honesty it has all ended badly for Big Sam his stubborn nature has kicked him in the teeth.
And if what you say about his contact is even half true, good on the chairmen.
I have been saying for some time Sam is killing everything about the club, but I just felt maybe the players could try a bit harder but as you say and iv'e said too if the motivation is lacking it shows.

For the season to be over, it was so plain to see on Saturday. I really can't see us winning anymore games this season I think we will get turned over this weekend as well . Sam should have been replaced months ago.
