Jimmy Quinn? I can't believe you got that so quick Timmy! Obviously nicknamed that due to his lack of mobility! How did you know that?
Sorry q1 and q4 wrong tho mate. Special question I saw a pic of the crowd made me laugh as everyone had a flat cap on so I'd go for all of them! Like the women point Tim. Wonder if the kids were wearing them? Anyone got a pic of a kid at the match in a flat cap?

Okay okay I'll come clean! I rang my West Ham mate on the Jimmy Quinn one. At the cup final, if you look closely, you can see the white horse wearing a flat cap.

Yes Timmy you are allowed to look it up and ask people. It's always nice to know if people can remember these things from memory, I know I can't! If you want to give others a chance to get q4 that's fine but I must admit I don't remember this player ever signing but I'm sure someone will know. I'm only as good as the Internet with my sources. I constantly think some of these questions are highly impossible to get but someone somewhere knows and gets them easily enough.

Q3 Booby Moore is the odd one out...It's something to do with Cockney Rhyming slang and University degrees... Hurst is a first , Tutu is (2/2) Hun is none and Hurd is 3rd.... so Moore is the odd one.

Would be a good shout but as said he never played. Amongst those who DID play for us I reckon we'd have to look at the Eastern blok players so I'd go for Ilie Dumitrescu for Q4

Storming performance Plaistow! It was shilton, university degree (Bobby Moore) and Matty Holmes! Does anyone actually remember him signing? It came as a shock to me

To my recollection he is not the only player with the surname Holmes to play for us, I have a book somewhere with all Hammers up to about 2000/2001 who played for us with stats as well. Need to look it out and run a quiz along these lines sometime.

May well be other players named Holmes Plaistow. Altho I tend to only use questions from my era since 75, but then again I don't remember shilton at the club only found out by chance! Old age mate. We need a cup win to refresh my memory of what's it like, I've forgotten.

We had Shilton then let him go to Orient where he made his 1000th appearance, Sky covered the game and paid Orient 25k which they gave to Shilton, can't remember who they played but they won 2-0.
