If like me you hear a lot of rumours but feel you can't believe most of them or indeed just want to tell us put them on here. It's the start of silly season and I feel frustrated you just hear made up stories we can't believe. So now I'm hoping to record them here and see who is the most accurate, and who just talks sh1t and even who just uses a scatter gun approach just to land the odd lucky guess. So here goes, record the rumour, where you heard it first and the date. And even time Then I will sort the list and see who we can trust most often. So if you hear it on the TV. Radio, newspaper, Internet or indeed just an in the know source, let's us know starting today. I'm only interested in the first people to break the rumours from this day as they then All jump on the band wagon.

Tbh Red Neck, most people also don't watch football and base there knowledge off video games. Braithwaite is miles ahead of Enner ability wise and is very likely better than Sakho aswell with the added bonus of being able to play wing and up front and has the ability to control a football. Scored 14 goals last season in the french league for Toulouse.

Have you seen much of braithwaite Fred? I'm not even sure people judge players on video clips! I'm pretty sure some of it is judged on video games like FIFA or football manager! Some people just don't have the ability to say i don't know as I have never seen him play. Also you have to watch a player more than once to get a decent judgement. ( this is not a dig at you or people on here)

well I think its going to be Randolph/tomks/obiang/hendrie/j.o.b ....Randolph will want to be a number 1 keeper I think so he could go tomks has had regular interest from the geordies in the past and if we got £12million not the £7mill rumoured from palace or sunderland I would sell it would then give the reeces burke/oxford sight of the first team on reg basis Napoli want obiang for £7million not bad for a guy who cost us £4.5mill and rarely played a full game hendrie well back to Scotland for him wont get much there and joey well he will just be released...Valencia could end up anywhere as long as we get our money back which IMO we will be lucky to do so...that's six gone who would be the other two unless you count the loanees song and moses to make the eight

I would've kept Sakho too, but I think he wants the number one spot and there are a lot better out there who will now come to us.

Anyone else who goes I.e Carroll, Tomkins sakho and Randolph could be to finance a better player to us than they currently are. I'd rather not see sakho go this season no matter what!

Rumours are that the go Gokhan tore deal has been agreed 12 mill and he will wear the number 7. As it was just vague sources I got it from I won't put it up yet. I'm looking for the first source that's confirms the deal is done not the first linking us to him. Big mick to middles boro from the sun for 8 mill. This one is so laughable you have got to question the sanity of either the journo or middlesboro! We paid 7 mill last year and he is a monster! Someone is definately shovelling sh1t on this one!

I think that if 8 are released they will come from: Randolph, O’Brien, Tomkins, Hendrie, Henry, Song, Obiang, Moses, Valencia, Sakho, Emineke, Lee.
The loanees are I think, nailed on. Randolph and Sakho both seem set on a move and I think any reasonable offers for Obiang or Valencia will be welcomed. If Sunderland make a substantial offer for Tomkins I think it will be accepted and I think that Lee will want to move on as he needs first team football now and he probably knows that if he had been in Bilic's plans he wouldn't have been sent out on a season long loan.
What will be more interesting I think is what players are brought in and from where and how the club reacts to any "left field" offers for the likes of Carroll, Antonio, Kouyate or even Puyet.
Yes, there's an interesting couple of months coming up.

Well being honest mate, 2 years ago then ye he shouldve been given a chance especially when we had no strikers. Theres a difference now though and that that hes now past the stage where biggest development phase wouldve been. Had he been given a chance 2 years then he chouldve kicked on from there like harry kane did but if you dont get given a chance then you cant develop. Unfortunatley for him hes missed his crucial development phase and will most likely never become a prem player.

I watched him many times and spoke to a number of people about him too. My view was that he wouldn't make it and that was borne out by many in the game.
It's all very well talking about the "biggest development phase" by which you probably mean the transition from youth level to senior, but that was I'm afraid, where he was found wanting and if you look at the stats of his loan spells he's not exactly been breaking any records.
It's a shame, but there you are. I hope he gets a club soon as he's an honest player but sadly, he just hasn't quite got enough.

Well i watched him a fair few times aswell mate, and he knows where the goal is and hes actually got very good positional sense and off the ball movement. But im sorry but look at Harry Kane, hes not exactly set the world on fire in any of his loan spells. Norwich fans thought he was awful. Not every player benefit the same from them. The biggest development phase im on about isnt the transition from youth football. Its the prime age for youngsters to develop but do that they need to play regular games at a decent level. For all you know if Allardyce played him once during that time when we were playing 460 then all it wouldve taken is one goal for him to carry on getting more games and the more games you play the more you improve. Harry Kane looked like he was going nowhere at tottenham but it all changed once he was given a run of games in the europa then the prem. One things for sure Elliot Lee wouldve done a much better job then Enner this season up front or Cole and Maiga in previous seasons

The thing is with this is that there are people who work with these players on a daily basis and they back their judgement on that. Kane's spell at Norwich is no yardstick to measure anyone by. He made roughly 5 appearances, at least 3 of them as a substitute and one in which he was injured - I was at that game by the way - so that's really an irrelevance.
Also, there was a difference in the way he was utilised during these loans by the various clubs he was loaned to, and don't forget that at Millwall he had a spell of 7 goals in 14 games at one point and Lee has never done anything approaching that, and also he made only 5 starts out of 13 appearances for Leicester.
I maintain that Lee just hasn't quite shown enough over the last 4 to 5 years and that the professionals at West Ham know that and have decided that letting him go is the right thing to do and that it probably should have been done a year or maybe 2 years ago.

noted in nevilles header "boro want Antonio" reading through the article he mentions that Bilic is very keen on newcastles Cheick Tiote ....... my heart sunk if true...he made an impact in his first season at the geordies when talk of £25/35 million moves to the likes of manure and chelski..they should of snapped there hands off because as I say IMO he is rubbish absoloute rubbish and fouls more than joey barton and we all know what happened when bfs wanted to sign him! so please please make sure this is one deal that is just a RUMOUR and not REALITY

Think we all know Spurs is fishing on another thread, about not paying the price wanted for players but if you think about things, there is almost a certainty that this season more than any other no one knows what the going price realistically due to all the extra money being thrown around. Once someone breaks cover ( the big name clubs) then we will all get a better idea on what those prices are. It's no surprise to me that selling clubs are playing hard ball ATM as we have the euros coming up soon which will inflate some players price. They also don't want to sell for what could end up being cheap in a couple of weeks time. Yes g and s may want to get it done early but I can't see strikers being sorted before the euros. The lacazette deal that was turned down could easily be the best deal they get on the table, but why except it now?

Latest rumours, besit want 17 mill for tore. I know nothing more about tore than the YouTube clips but I must say if g, s and bilic feel he was worth 12 mill last season then 17 mill must be deemed the worth spending. Ok we want value but we also want quality and have to bear in mind that with the new deal and moving to the new stadium the amount of money we have dwarfs our previous fees. It's unlikely anyone would now sell us a player for our first team under 10million now.
