Can we please have the old rule back where a goalkick HAD to leave the penalty area? Jeez.. what is all this faffing about where a full back takes a goal kick, passing straight to the keeper about? Or is it just me?

It’s not just you, Deluded. I don’t see why one side has to remain outside the box while the defenders can stay inside. Either all players can encroach or none. That would make it more interesting.

also get the offside flag up when the player is actually off side not when he has run 50 yds with the ball and scored or had a shot, then bring the play back and give the free kick, total waste of time and effort

What's happened to the quick taken free kicks? The game is stopped now and time given for the offending team to organise a defence with little white shaving cream markers.

Get annoyed with this kind of stuff to be honest and the constant call for play to be stopped when a player goes down with a head injury when he has been tackled hard but fairly nowhere near his head yet just holds it so the ref has to stop the game grrrrr shit housery of the lego hair kind that really gets on my well you can guess!.
And again players pressured into putting the ball out when the refs seen nothing wrong in the tackle and players rolling screaming crying because his teams been caught out and commentators saying it looks a bad one only for a miracle to occur and the player instantly recovers once the danger for his teams is over.
Cheating is all that is and i am sick of it like most other fans.
