West Ham v Burnley

Two ways of looking at this game: either a team almost certainly down... or a team fighting for their lives. Burnley haven't scored in about 6 weeks, so are in even worse form than us, and I find it hard to think they have the slightest hope, or self belief that they can survive. Will Sam set us up to go out and win, or will he yet again be obsessed with keeping a clean sheet, even at the expense of the paying customers? Does anyone care at this point? Predictions?

You know what I do not know how this will pan out. Two sides that cannot score for a nil nil draw or us just scraping a 1 nil win. Hopefully Ings will be quiet again. Maybe I am an ostrich!

.......cannot wait for this game......only 2 more home games to go.......then the Blue Mickey Mousers will come and roll us over 3-0 probably........cannot wait for this season to end........which is terrible !!

I have to laugh (somewhat bitterly) whenever he talks about his 'attacking philosophy.' It consists of set plays (which we don't get many of), and banging balls into the (currently/permanently injured) Andy Carroll. I don't pretend to know exactly what 'The West Ham Way' is, but I do know IT IS NOT THE SAM ALLARDYE WAY.

I agree: booing our own players is a no-no as far as I'm concerned: it only helps the opposition and hurts our guys.

Ive never done it,ive heard sections of the crowd booing nolan lately!Im not a fan of nolans & dont reckon he should start for westham, but booing him imo is not on & very disrespectful...

Yes .. I wouldn't be surprised to see Burnley beat us especially knowing how our current Football Dinosaur Allardyce is likely to set the Team up bearing mind we are also at Home .. One thing for sure Burnley will be well up for it and will certainly put a good shift in .. I also rate their Manager very highly !

Pretty much the first thing Sam mentions in his presser: ----- keeping a clean sheet. Bottom club in the PL and he'd probably be quite happy with a 0-0.

They have not scored in about 6 weeks so they must score soon so let's pack our defence and let them try and brake us down. I would go 1-5-5 let them have 89% of the ball and with our pace hit them on the brake so I'm going for a 1-0 to us or 0-0 or 3-1 to them .

We've got to win this one surely, and a wake up call for a bit of motivation and save some face now we've fallen into the bottom half COYI

we're on 44 with ,is it 4 remaining , i think the goal for him now is to achieve 50 so as when he does go he knows all the muphets on motd will come out with their normal big Sam adoration " 50 POINTS AND THEY GOT RID OF HIM?, UNGRATEFUL BASTARDS , THEY DONT DESERVE HIM "

Burkie 1

This is the only game where we can get a point out of the four remaining fixtures as I see it!!!
The way we have been playing I cant see Allardyce being able to change it or the players turning it on at all! In all honesty we should win it 3 or 4 -0 but you just know the dinosaur will set out for a draw with Nolan, Jarvis and Cole in his favourite 4-5-1 and if we are lucky to score first he will defend hoping for a 1-0 result.
Sad times at West Ham I just hope SUGO have the b*ll*cks to get rid of him sooner rather than later!
I could not get anyone to go to this game that's how bad it is at the moment!
1-1 is my prediction and most fans booing him at the end!!!

Have no idea how this match will pan out, going by current form.Burnley are fighting for their lives so they will surely have more reason to give it everything.Westham have nothing to play for ,apart from gaining a position or two up the league.Westham are on the worst run, and nothing to suggest it is going to end with this match.Think this is Westham's last opportunity to gain any more points because I cannot see any more from the remaining games. With Sakho out ,Valencia's game is not the same, the way Allardyce uses him stuck out on the wing.

I fully agree with what is written here:
http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/05/01/does-enner-valencias-west-ham-...

I go with a diamond formation ,two up front in Valencia and Nene/Amalfitano,bring back Song holding,Kouyate,Noble and Downing top of the diamond and Poyet to come on sometime during the game.

Burnley have something to fight for we haven't fought for anything for the last four months. Never said this before but I can't wait for this season to end. It's time for the Management to back him or sack him, oh and 2-1 to Burnley by the way...... kills me to say that.
