Most of us had written off the spurs game and Bilic with it. for 45 mins it looked like being the case. But credit where its due, if Bilic takes the knocks for poor showings he has to also get the commendations for a great win. So well done. Question now is if we beat Palace this weekend, what then? Do we keep Bilic? if so until when? I for one am hoping we crush palace. Bilic has a long way to go to turn it round and the issues with hernandez position etc still remain.

Spot on Mac. Enjoy the day but what did this win mean in real terms? Both teams weakend. Team talk from noble in Monday, well if that worked why did it take till the second half? Bilic team talk at half time? Well ayew said bilic told them they were doing ok! But needed to play with confidence. Hardly inspired. This game counted for nothing really. Not only that giving anyone 2 games isn't enough to prove anything. He either gets sacked or gets at least 5 games. The whole idea of giving someone 2 games of which one was a cup game for second string players is just pathetic.

I agree Dicksy, still to many negative things: Bilic's tactics,player choice( especially not giving deserving youngsters a chance),style of play,inability to adjust a team for the better during games 75% of the time,but especially the team performances-we were playing better under Grant-attitude of players,fiedling players out of position,not to their strengths.One swallow does not make a summer,I would still get rid .

If this so called team talk on Monday what Noble said has worked, This Saturday will be the measure where were going this season, 3 points and a 88 min goal wont be enough against Palace. IMO it's got to be a goal fest ( 4 or more ) it can be done and we can dream this will be our turning point this season,. I do hope so for Bilic sake, the fans deserve it as well...

The media would eat us with salt if we get rid after beating palace we dont have much choice as far as i can see ,you never know one step at a time ,my worry is Bilic seems to think it all revolves around Carroll he seems to be his first pick and builds the team around him ,well there wasnt much of an understanding between himself and Ayew last night ,Carroll is destined to be a bench player before his transfere.
On a slightly brighter note the stadiums owners going bust might be a blessing in disguise depending how much they owe the bank the receiver would sell it in a heart beat and for a much reduced sum

With a bloody headache dicksy,i feel like i'm turning into a Jekyll & Hyde with bilic,just like our team lol, my head says we're just papering over the cracks, but my heart says could that scum game win, light our fuse paper now,wont know till Saturday,whatever he said to the players 2nd half,i hope its been bottled up for palace game and beyond,just got to hope the rested players bought into that too,or it's back to square one,me personally would like to see him go out on a high,if he don't get a new contract.

Timing is not great to get a successor, we are in competition now with Everton. I think the porn twins will save money by seeing his contract out and bring in a fresh face in the summer unless we are bottom at Christmas which is likely looking at the December fixtures.
