Will we get a decent striker

So far we have been linked with more strikers than there are in a coal mine, its disappointing. I for one would be happy to see Chicherito come but looking at the reports about the others like Giroud, Iheanacho and the like I can't see them happening. Not to sure about the Burnly bloke so where does that leave us. Now we have been linked with Dembele from Celtic which won't happen as the bigger clubs will fight for him so like has been said on here before I would look at Assobalongo, he is quick and knows where the goal is and we could probably get him for 10 to 12 million as Burnly have had a bid refused. The thing is last season's buys where a fiasco that nearly had us relegated and unless the 2 Davids pull their fingers out we wil be in the same boat this year. I know we still have the sick room twins but we need players that can at least play a few more games than them. Still plenty of time before the owners start to panic buy but we have to start soon.

I to would be happy with Chicherito i think hes a little dynamo mind you id be wary of the price ,he almost 30 now

Define decent striker Alby? One man' Carlton is another man's Mido. I think that is the problem, what we need is what all clubs need, we just have to realise we are way down the pecking order for most of them. Gird would rather sit on the arsenal bench, than play for us. Even if we paid him more. What do we have to offer? A big stadium, mid table, no trophies. that's Troy Deeney country, Yet if the board came out and said that or we signed him there would be mutiny. Said it before but Wilson and King were mentioned last year and everyone poo-pooed the idea. I remember people clambering for Jordan Rhodes, willing to pay £10-15million. The fell from Brentford, we should've paid 312 million for him apparently. Now Assambolonga, all sounds a bit familiar.

The modern game is all about money, pay big & the top players will come, bottom line is sugo wont pay top dollar so there lies the problem...

just the usual propaganda from the porn twins and jack the lad. We will have a panic purchase or loan at the end of August like we always have and see a broken Andy Carroll doing his best to make a good fist of things

Jota is incredible for brentford, a fans favourite... but its the same thing of unproven in the premiership. Also as far as I am aware he is more an attacking mid or winger than striker. Why are we after him when we have lanzini?

and all the dizziness of the giroud/nacho/hernandez signings fall by the wayside to be offset with a striker nobody has been aware of but he is cheap!! personally I do not care where from or how much as long as they can stick the ball in the back of the net on a regular basis...so lets see shall we if there is a JOTa of truth behind the story:)
