A wee bid to lure (the recently released) Dimitar Berbatov to our colours? Yes he would be expensive. No he wouldnt "run around all day" but WHAT IF a fit Andy Carroll was up there (and hopefully he will be)? Carroll occupying 2 defenders (and taking on" defensive duties") and somebody with" a very good football brain" linking up . I didnt think Sheringham would have been any good for us at his stage of his career!!! Ticks a lot of boxes for me.

I think a 'fit Andy Carroll'
I think a 'fit Andy Carroll' is a big IF, even IF he wants to stay here. Not sure we can afford a Berbatov type player. I reckon we are going to need every member of our squad working at near 100% this season. Obviously a great talent, but he'll be 35 halfway through next season... how much time does he have left? Not for me sadly.

im not a fan of the one up front football , although i think a fully fit Carroll is the exception, these players are notoriously lazy bastards , Carroll though will run all day , cause havoc in the opo's box and has great ability with his head and his toes , look at Benteki on Sunday , bloody disgrace, easy known he's in for a move to the pooh
