When i looked at the premiership table this morning i have to say i was a small bit surprised at our position , fact is we have to get to the bottom of this and fast , not withstanding yesterdays get out of jail card and totalscum stealing our thunder in a kind of "anything you can do we can do better " the fact remains it shouldn't be like this , ok its grand and dandy that we beat the Arse ,Pooh and Shitty on their own manor but our home form is abysmal and it shouldn't be like this , in fact it should be the complete opposite, who would have batted an eye lid if we only got a couple of points from those games and got maximum points at uppers we would stiill be third and maybe higher , the thing is it might be ok if we could sustain it and who knows we might but its highly unlikely , so whats the reason for it ,personally i think its mega lethargy that sets in after fantastic results on our travels ,that coupled with the fact that sometimes it isn't easy in front of your home fans and most times its harder due to the expectations, and take into account one or two dubious performance from the players it all adds up to our new manager must knuckle down and sort it .
sorted
reading the first lines of this I assumed that by getting to the bottom of it you meant the table lol as sooner or later we will be flirting with it! but seriously we do have to change our style at home against opposition we should be beating and I hope super slav sorts it out with trying the 2 up front scenario I have heard whispered by people who have seen such a sight.....sackho was isolated and making runs but with little support I think we have seen this before.....I understand against stronger teams what bilic is trying to do but being a bit more adventurous at home is not to much to ask....I lost count yesterday of how many times they got the ball out of defence and into midfield and there players finding it unbelievable that they had time to get there head up have a look and still no challenge...we sat to deep did not push up far enough and in so doing invited and encouraged Norwich to come forward.....disappointing to say the least frustrating very much so but not something that cannot be fixed
I agree with your comment on
I agree with your comment on Sackho not half enough support, just didn't seem to get men around him , i think if you are going to play one up fron hes our best option ,works hard and never gives out
It is strange that we go away
It is strange that we go away from home against the big sides and do the basics like closing down quickly and pressing further up the pitch, but at home we seem to be too relaxed, almost just going through the motions, I've mentioned it before, i hope it's not a case of just getting up for the big games, seems odd when you look at our results, we should be beating the likes of Norwich, Bournemouth and really Leicester at home if we want improvement. I think we just need the same urgency at home that we've seen against City and Arsenal, also think 2 up front would be good although who would play in the midfield then, I'm guessing Payet would still play, I'd still like to see Lanzini and Moses play so that would mean dropping our captain for me and starting Kouyate as the central midfielder

They say Rome wasn't built in a day, but I wasn't on that particular job...

Stop the errors leading to
Stop the errors leading to opposition early goals, can't be giving gifts, 3 times now at home
Yep, and sloppy silly errors
Yep, and sloppy silly errors at that: Noble ought to know by now to never play the kind of cross field pass that led to the Norwich first goal.
