This bloke is no mug.

Slaven bilic is no mug. Just loved the way you can't predict how he is gona go! I predicted he would bring back ogbonna this week his own man who he rates and obiang who he played against pool. No the man makes me look a fool by playing Collins a man he has played rarely and zarate when most were predicting Valencia or Antonio. Not only does he give confidence to the lads that if they play well they are in, but he doesn't rush players like ogbonna, Valencia and Carroll back until he is satisfied! And if that isn't bad enough he doesn't take a step back. Or crow like other dim wit managers when we win. It's like he is a silent assassin lull you in then rip you to pieces.

When he was appointed i said he would do well for us,his record as croatia boss & besiktas just gave me that confidence to believe in him.2nd in the table with one of the strongest squads i can ever remember in nearly 50 years of supporting the mighty hammers, also bet on us getting to the FA cup final this season...

Bilic is a good manager, if he can get the players to contribute well and be together the man believe me will do a great job.

I agree with DITM that the real test will be when things go bad, though I don't know if they can go so bad for so long this season as they did last season, -- not with the team we've got and the way we attack. So I think the big test will come maybe next season but more likely the one after that. For now -- ENJOY!!!

I agree. With the depth, and QUALITY in depth, of squad we now have, there is no way we will collapse like we did last season. But it's more than the fact that we have better players this term: for me the most important factor is the change in philosophy: the thinking that's it's better to lose in an attempt to win, rather than spend long periods hanging on to a point. Sure we will have a bad run (Watford might turn us over next week!), but when you always try to attack teams that's bound to happen now and then: the odd bad mistake, an injury, unlucky with decisions or whatever. But when you have the positive attitude now running through the entire club, we'll bounce back quickly.

I agree totally bully. There is no doubt we will go on a bad run, no one on here seems foolish enough to think otherwise. As for squad remember we still have song and Antonio to come into the match day squad.

I think he's adopted the roetation system and plays it the way it should be played ,strength in squad numbers together with proper use of subs including impact subs ,ie Carroll and Zarate , he really does assess each match meticulously and sets his stall out accordingly, just cause you have a great game this week its no certainty you'll be playing next time , the bloodless coup is over ,via la revolution
