Watford game

We have the best away record in the league (in the country I think!), they have one of the worst home records. Before the Bilic Era, most of us would have this game down as a nailed on loss; but all bets are off now with that kind of typical old-fashioned 'always fear the worst' West Ham way of thinking.

Watford aren't as poor as their record suggests, but unless our boys are complacent we should have too much for them.

Team and predictions?

Think he'll keep the team the same and bring on Moses for Zarate later in the game. As for result, this was the only game this month I had us down for winning and as I've only got 2/10 on my results tips for the Hammers so far (is that better than Lawrenson), I'm gonna stick to it. 3-0 win for the Hammers. I've heard of a few people who have got tickets from family or friends, so we might have quite the third column at Vicarage Road! Try jumping up and down when we score, and see how many others join in.................hahahahahaha

on the players mindset...I was at the sunderland match and everyone new they would be at us from the start but the players started slow 2-0 down before you new it and but for borini messing up when it was easier to score we should of been 3-0 down..we got a bit of luck and eventually got the draw....if I was Bilic I would replay this match to the players so they get a timely reminder as to how close they were to losing that day....as for the team apart from Adrian/payet/lanzini/sacko/cressy/jenks/kouyate/your names by no means a cert on teamsheet of course injuries will prob make the c/h pairing the same but with agbonna back Valencia pushing for start moses who has done nothing wrong and now carroll well the bench is going to be superstrong....if we draw watfords early fire and counter as we have been I am confident of the win but complacency is our biggest foe here so I hope Bilic gives the player a sharp reminder as they go out on Saturday as we don't want a Halloween nightmare! we should get a comfortable win, however at the beginning of the season i would have been very happy with a point. I do think they are better than their record suggests but i will go for a 2 0 win, having said that if we get 2 in the first half it could be a lot more.

It almost seems like he is doing it on purpose now. He's predicted Watford to lose 9 and draw one game so far this year. But this game he predicts them to score twice as many goals at home as they have scored all season, against the team with the best away record in the country, the team who haven't lost by more than one goal all year. I think he is taking the p1ss now, either that or a West Ham fam is paying him to keep predicting losses for us.

That plonker Lawro has been wrong 8 out of 10 times so far and keeps saying we are going to lose especially our last 4 games. He will be right eventually and probably will say "see I told you so"" thinking how clever he is forgetting his awful predictions previously!
We should win but against lowly opposition we do tend to struggle and I see a 1-1 draw as both sides adopt counter attacking options with the bus parked at each end. I just hope Watford continue to play attacking football and come out as they have been doing at home and losing because of it.
I somehow think they might play as we do away and stifle the game this time knowing they cant beat us!
If Watford play a normal home game however we will win it imo!

I think this will be a tough game. If the players aren't as up for this as they were for Chelsea, Watford are quite capable of teaching them a lesson. There are no easy games in the PL, and if we have pretensions of finishing high in the league, the boys have to be as near as possible to 100% in every game.

There is a strong possibility that Valencia could contribute to the goals if he is brought on as a substitute. With Zarate, Carroll and Moses competing for a starting spot, this could be an interesting lineup.

I dont think we should take watford for granted & im sure slav will let the boys know that! But if we keep our recent form up 2-0 to the mighty hammers....
