Is he the most overrated commentator ever? I thought I'd give the liverpool bournemouth a look but I had to switch to city palace because Tyler waffling on and on and on. The man thinks he's some sort of commentating genius. I want to watch the match I don't want to hear 90 mins of Tyler's babbling about the personal life of klopp, or his players and then telling me about the other matches that were played yesterday or every club that each player has played for before. Infuriating buffoon.

No, that would be jonathon Pearce. The man grates so much on me I can't enjoy the highlights when we win! Should have stuck to robot wars

Football commentators should listen to Ritchie Benaud's advice: keep you mouth shut if you can't add to the picture. I frequently have to hit the mute button with all commentators.

Brian moore was a great commentator and when he used to lose it shouting OHHHH WHAT A GOALLLLLL his face would sometimes redden when the cams were on him in the BIG MATCH studio......oh I feel a poll coming on what was your fav football programme A. motd B. the big match C. sportsnight(bit unfair that one as not just footy)

Big match Brian Moore the king of commentators. Trouble is big match was a regional program so I had to watch Gerry Harrison far to often, with smatterings of the king on the second game. Harrison was at the time dire but nowadays he would be no different to the other numpties

Hammer65 I remember games that were 15 a side reducing to 8 a side during tea time going on for about 3 hours and scores like 22-20 I'm sure all my generation probably experienced similar times.now you are lucky to see a kick about. I remember the arsenal player Perry groves asking if he could play and wasn't deemed good enough until we had 3 players short going in for tea haha. We were all school kids at the time a long time ago now!

Best commentator of all time Brian (across the face of the goal) Moore. Many times the question of who he supported came up as he was the king of the London commentary games. Alas he was a self confessed Gillingham fan, that was his team....a legend in the game!!

Tony Gale and Brian Moore two best commentators past and present for me!!! Tony Gale makes sense almost every time and he tends to put his co-commentator right when they get carried away!
